Ok, so this is my first post on this site, so i hope this is the right place for this post.

Im growing 3 plants in an aeroponic system using CFL's. My 3 plants are about 4-5 inches tall and have been vegging for about 4 weeks. Im limited in space at 20 to 22 inches and was wondering when a good time to start flowering theses babies. Theres about 4 to 5 nodes on each plant, but ive read that flowering can make the plant double or triple in size. So for all you pros out there can you give me any advice. This is my first grow so i realize its more or less trial and error, but with the right guidelines im looking to have an amazing first grow experiance. I will post pics later so you can see what im dealing with. But help now would be great!

Yes you need to at least double your lighting
I think you have a 100 watt equivalent bulb, big big difference

Yeah it is 100 watt equivilent. So you think i need atleast 2 more of these? And should i stick with the daylight bulbs or get some soft white CFL's?

Yes i would wait a couple days just to allow the two heads on top to form and then you can cut the lighting back to 12/12

THANKS!

Ok, my grow cabinet is 2 ft. x 2ft and about 22 inches tall. I know I need to start flowering as soon as possible, but do you think the width of the cabinet will be a factor? i noticed one of the plants started brushing against the wall. will this matter?

Those pictures were takin today. I just topped the plants 2 nights ago. I got about 16 inches till these plants touch the ceiling of the cabinet. Go ahead and Flower?

Also, My cabinet has one small fan in it and keeps the grow space at about 83 degrees. Is this to hot? Im adding 2 more cfls during flowering so should i get more fans?

You need to add an exhaust fan to take out the heat of the box
83°F is okay but you would have much better growth if you got the temps down to 76-78°F
