Giving them a few days to dry back a little and grow back from the topping. Hoping to get some versity and kelp watered in Monday morning for the heat and some regular IPM/foliar. Got a string of 100 degree days so gonna see what they do this time, torn between feeding normal strength or just kelp and versity. Gotta change out my trellis soon been lazy

Sprayed em with plant therapy tonight as well to help keep the buggies down. I need to go get some lady bugs soon and release them one of these days. Took some apple fritter cuts, more jelly rancher cuts, and some ice cream cake cuts if I can get one of each throwing roots I’ll be happy. Once this heat lets off a little after Sunday I’m gonna change out my bamboo stakes for taller ones that are a bit stronger.

It's nice to hear the heat is letting off. Where I live was never that warm but you can see lower numbers here by a bit too.

There are less orange ladybugs around this year.

Had a few days of 107+ so I got em watered with kelp this morning. Got a local fire close by that’s throwing some ash our way. Had maybe 8 of the plants that put on some height to the top of my bamboo stakes that needed taller trellising so I swapped some out. 88C2EB52-7E98-4EF7-9270-E9A32CE0B4C7.jpeg

Nothing is really showing any flowering yet just some consistent stretching still. I got to swap out some of the remaining short trellis for taller stuff and add another layer to the larger stuff possibly. Clean up some more inside small scragglier stuff on the bottom 3rd of the plants for airflow and re directing some tops in the trellis. I’m trying to avoid the mesh or plastic trellis netting all together as it drives me mad at harvest time.

Just kinda chugging along the last week of veg here. Heats been finally under 100F so I’ll take that! Sprayed em this morning with plant therapy and watered em maybe second to last veg feed before I start mixing in flower nutrients. Still no pre flower action yet.
