Be careful with those Kush varieties. I was just reading about how Kush strains are supposed to be the most susceptible to botrytis. If you pull on a sugar leaf carefully you can bend the stem of the bud away from the stalk and take a peak inside.

I have harvested 3 of my 4. One was Grand Daddy Purple and it had botrytis on the inside of nearly every bud. Makes sense... it's a kush strain. I won't grow kush dominant strains outdoors around here again.

My Blueberry picked up a beautiful deep purple on every calyx facing the sun. Was quite a plant. Seemed to be somewhat prone to powdery mildew though.

Sensi Star was a monster producer. Not prone to botrytis but did get a bit of PM in some areas.

Winner of the four for outdoor in our climate has been Trainwreck. I've harvested about half of the main stalks and I'm leaving the others to see what they can do in the next few weeks. I haven't seen any botrytis or PM all season on this plant. According to my calendar it was in flower for 10 weeks now, but it looks like it still could go a bit longer. It seems so resistant to fungus that I am not even worried about the colder and wetter weather that's coming. I'm thinking I can push it past Haloween and maybe even see some snow.

I have not seen amber trichs on any of my plants, so I would say we can't really use that as a gauge since PM and botrytis are likely to pop up first. I get pretty good sun and decent wind in my location as well so I'm sure others have seen the same problems.

For outdoor its a tough choice, i try to pick strains with the best resistance to mold/cold weather and not too strong of a smell. Indoors i don't have to worry at all about mold ever as long as you do it right and like to grow the most stankiest strains if i have the choice

Woooo !
Hopefully lots of people were brave and know what is what. Most hybrid strains should have been just finishing up in last cpl wks or just coming up.
Cant upload video of drying so heres the 3 plants just before chopping. I dont even really know but I figure I have like 3-4lbs drying and I have a full 4cu ft freezer full of fresh frozen to make hash. Should last a while.
Lost probably 1/2P to mildew as well.
