I was, wish I had cut her a few days ago. Ripper took her. Got all of it except a couple of wind damaged branches I took off. She needed a week or two longer.
Pretty sure it was my neighbour's shit licking son. He doesn't live there anymore, and I have no way to find him, but I know he visited recently and was asking his parents about it.
That sucks dude, one time i lost 35+ plants 4 weeks from crop, one can only assume they were also shit licking idiot kids. I mean if ur gonna rob me atleast have some fuckin patience, and if you dont, dont saay u stole it from me, i dont grow premature nug lol

I invested about $100 total into my 4 plants. No nutes. Bought some wooden stakes to hold them up. Sunlight is Free.
I'll get at least 2 pounds dry.

I have noticed a few spots of budrot on a couple plants, so I don't want to push it past another rain. This Saturday looks like rain, so they are coming down.

Just took down the 8 ball, she flowered and revegged as well as lost almost all the big fan leaves she had by week 5 of true flower somehow she pulled through, I was not amazed at the smell for the first 7-8 weeks of flower, but 2 weeks ago it started to smell better and right now it smells pungent, and sweet! Almost a ripe fruit smell now today, no mold on any of my plants this year so I didn't feel allergies at all while taking off the fan leaves before drying! here is a popcorn nug. She was about 7.5 - 8 feet tall. Was fun getting it inside the garage in one piece View attachment 4404012View attachment 4404013

Good news and bad news, the good news is she smells and smokes great with amazing terps and great quality high...

Bad news is, my research was right and flowering from being put outside too early and then revegging caused it to herm i think. Already found 15+ seeds just hanging it and spreading out the side buds on the branches for airflow. The northern lights has about 1-2 seeds per ounce after manicuring and testing. The nuken has no seeds so far but only yielded 50-60 grams in that 5 gallon..

Oh boy.. Going to manicure and jar the 8 ball soon, looks like a plant that size could yield almost a pound but i think we may have to make a goal of 150+ grams now boys! I was hoping to get over a half pound but these are by far the fluffiest buds I've harvested.

First ever proper herm! Never had a male yet.. I don't know how i get so lucky, i don't grow large numbers of plants but i've grew multiple times already lol.

I wouldnt consider my northern a herm from how little seeds there are and how dense and big those noooogets are :)

And my nuken...

Both hard as a rock.

The 8 ball on the other hand.... Will update in a few days

Also very sorry to the guys who got their plants stolen... I was having nightmares 1-2 weeks before harvest because it was that time where man, there is no hiding what i have going on back there. I kept lying to myself but it was so obvious, and i got confirmation when my neighbor talked to me and said "my kitchen reeeks where are you drying you weed?" Hes the nicest guy ever and i know i wouldnt have a problem with him ever even though he doesn't smoke, but still thought maybe there is a chance he just didn't notice? But he was like "Oh yea, they were huge haha i noticed when they got over the fence"... Yea.. The northern ended up being 4 feet taller than the fence in the end.. loll. I'd be going outside to water them with anxiety when they started to really look like weed, i'd figure out mornings on weekdays are the best time to just check around my plant fully for any problems.

I could smell them from inside my house 1-2 weeks before harvest, when i opened the back door oh man. No denying that my neighbors beside me will smell that

I honestly don't have enough words to describe the reward of a successful harvest like this with so much risk from things that could have gone wrong. I do have security luckily, and not to say too much but if anyone comes to my backyard and tries taking them, i'll know and someone in the house is always there. I truly wonder if my neighbors are just awesome and not the type i have to worry about or if they just realized with my security, theres not enough reward for the risk they'll have to take to try do steal them.

All i know for sure is none of my neighbors have kids, most are oriental and old quiet people that never cause problems. I live in a good area (THANK YOU WEED GODS!) There are kids around, just luckily not the houses beside mine.

Bubble hash usually needs to dry for a day or two no?
first bubblehahs 2.png

Yessir! i don't know what i'm doing but i'm going to treat it like weed and try to get the right humidity stable in a jar while burping it, i let it dry in small pieces for 24-36 hours before balling it up.

Should I just cut them down Friday?
I think they could "go longer" but, temperatures around 10 degrees doesn't seem to me like much growth would happen
I've also been cutting out bud rot.
I don't really see amber trichs, maybe that's just not in the cards for the climate strains I'm growing
Strains are supposedly: GDP, Trainwreck, Blueberry, and Sensi-Star

So I split the difference and only harvested half of the colas. Have had them drying since Friday.
I did lose almost an entire plant to bud rot, so I will be making a lot of edibles.

The rest is looking really healthy still. I think I am going to wait until it snows to pull them.

Im in a similar situation. Chopped about 1/2 of one plant as i was seeing PM starting on some buds. Didnt lose much.

chopped another plant w signs of PM- lost about 3/4 of it. Garbage.

was hoping to push the rest til Oct26 but more rain cominh and daytime highs arent great.
Hmmmm what to do?

The powdery mildew doesn't seem to be a problem. I have it on some leaves, but I don't see it getting into buds.
It's the bud rot, which appears to be a different species of mold, that is really dangerous. The worst part is you might look at what seems like a healthy bud, have it drying, then as you go to trim you find it's all filled with mold. Gotta watch out for that. Pull back each small bud from the main stem and look that things are green and not going brown.

This could just be my experience so take it as my own opinion, but i had a little powdery mildew last year on my outdoor right before harvest, only on the fan leaves and none on the buds i could see. I definetly could tell there was a harshness to it i can't describe and my allergies were bad.

Come this year, no PM at all, and holy crap. Smoking my stuff makes me wonder how much moldy weed i've been smoking my whole life. If you have PM do a peroxide rinse, there is videos on how to do it. I definitely would if i had the problem

Ya ive been throwing anything even skeptical in the trash and using ‘less skeptical buds’ for hash.

not taking any chances

I have been using the questionable buds to make coconut oil. I just made a batch of 40mg/tspn oil.

That's pretty potent. You could probably get high just massaging it into your skin

How much did you have to process to get this result? Was is dried first or fresh cut? It looks like a lovely result. I'll be doing a run shortly myself. If you're new to this watch Frenchy Cannoli's channel. One of the supposed foremost authorities. You can watch his full process from start to finish with plenty of detail. Fyi, those bud washing machines are $75 on ebay.

Still letting it ride on my side fellas. Every night we dip to between 2-5 degrees Celsius. It’s seen around 3-4 frosts now, not a touch of bud rot. No cover or protection.

Buds haven’t fattened up like I’d hoped but are nice and frosty. I’m going to have to take it soon. Afghan Kush
