im considering the organic route, since im aiming for quality i should probably use what makes the plants happiest. but im concerned about how to source my micronutes--does anyone think a crushed up multivitamin in water would provide the correct form of these? im thinking about using this fish emulsion i found that is 2-4-0.5 but im not sure if that is good for veg and flowering... it seems like it would be good for flowering. i'd like to hear from some people who have experience in this--or at least have read something that pertains. thnx!

this is what ive read and practice, n-p-k ,, nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium your gonna need at least a phosphurus level of 20 for flowering 1\2 recomended dose per gallon you need a blooming solution. for fish emulsion i use fish food flakes and sardines burry in soil my plant turns'em to dirt and roots

man i dunno about fish food and stuff but it sounds a bit fishy to me, i use organic seaweed fert its not mega high in (N) about 8, from holland a company called "biobizz" and i got some cannaboost for flowering both bought from greens horticulture I think you only need to think indepth about nutes if you are growing them to a serious height or re-using the soil(or maybe hydrophonics) just give it to them every other feed and }leave it or add more depending on how your plant reacts. also from another company from holland i got some shooting powder for the final stages to increase yield and quality also it has things like potassium and potash i heard these are also needed for flowering dunno where to get this as my brother got it free with a weed magazine/ anyway look for Shooting powder on the net>
cheers

im looking into fish emolution and have found one at 5-2-2 i thought this would be good for the veg stage

Neptunes harvest is the best!!! Check Agway for it. Fish emulsion in the res/soil and kelp on the leaves.

I use 1/3 fruit and vegetable and yard compost, 1/3 composted manure, 1/3 composted peat as a base.
I mix in blood meal according to directions.
I mix in bone meal according to directions.
I mix in pearlite heavily.
I use fish emulsion as a soluble source of Nitrogen, some Phosphate, and some potash during veg.
I use bat guano and molasses as a high soluble source of Phosphate, Potassium, Calcium, and some Iron.
I use a specific brand fish food from walmart in an orange container called TETRA FIN fish food granules (one 1.8oz bottle to every ten gallons of soil), they retain in the soil better. These are an amazing source of micronutrients. Any seaweed containing fish food will also do, as it contains all the micro nutrients that cannabis needs.
I also added some COI fish pellets.
The fruit and vegetable compost I make constists of the culled fruits and vegetables from my local grocery store. They let me and other people pick it up as compost. It comes from the best farms in the world. Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Canada, France, etc. It makes for some amazing compost.

I leave my water containers (milk jug) sitting over night with an oxygen stone and pump aerating the water before I water I add a cap of hydrogen peroxide to the gallon of aerated water and then add my soluble nutrients. Fish emulsion for veg and bat guano and molasses for flowering.

Or you can spend 8 bucks on some Jack's Classic bloom and add some peroxide and you have all the same nutes as if you spent an hour mixing all that shit together just to make your grow smell like shit.

Gardening is what I do. I enjoy it. Soil is a science just like botany it's self. Pre mixed fertilizers made by somebody for some company or composted fruits and veggies from around the world? You shouldn't talk shit about the work I put in and the care I take in what I do. It's disrespectful. Plus I most of my shit for free and I get great results. Plus I grow more than just cannabis, I'm what you call a "well rounded gardener".

I am not talking shit about what you do and I have a boatload of respect for the care and passion you put into whatever you grow. I am saying for myself and 90% +/- it is not neccesary, too much work and produces a foul odor if you dont know what you are doing. That's all. Happy growing.
