makes sense .... i use the t5 for veg...
Love how close you can put a t5 apposoed to a hps...
The problem is mine a 2 bulber....
If i had a 6 or 8 .... definately would put some flowerers in there...

What kind of spectrum are you running? All 2700 or do you mix a lil 6500 in there?

Its what the fixture came with and at the time I couldn't afford a different set of bulbs.
But after growing with it awhile I've just seemed to have gotten it dialed in....and why fix what ain't broken ? ;)

I ONLY say that because its like a full-balanced meal for a plant (water, co2, nutrients, and BOTH sides of the spectrum) You know like 6500 k is your green beans, and your 2700 is your steak. Dunno, that's just how I see it. ;) GREAT GROW THOUGH, regardless. I will be watching.

It's all good......I'd also like to add I only grow for personal, and my avg of 3 zips last me quite awhile. I can't wait to see what I do wit a 600w hps though :) is it Christmas yet?
