Beware! i got a run of 15 strains with varying numbers on each and the only 3 that look even slightly less then perfect is the 3 sour kosher. all light green and clawed out. i just realized tonight it was strain related so i figured id pass on the warning.

it all started only a couple hours after i treated with azos. I'm running near water only with Michigan medical marijuana mix soil. M3 mix its called. 99% of my room is so beautiful its not even funny and the sour K was before the azos, they just didn't like the extra N. good luck to all and it would be awesome if someone could corroborate this or go against it and maybe point out what it really is? idk whatever some feedback would be cool.

Just called my buddy who has finished a run with a Sour Kosher. He said its a picky bitch. He said his didnt like ferts until 4th week of bloom and then he had to give it Nitrogen at week 5 to bring it back from yellowing out. He also said hes never ran into another plant that turned yellowish white like her. The end product was very sour and has a good potency though. Its a 50/50 high with a heavy stone. Have you gotten to smoke any Sour Kosher yet HGK420?

good to know others had similar issues!

not yet no, this is my first run with her. i had a couple freebies from various orders. I'm a huge fan of HGK obviously which is OG18 and Kosher so i dont see why sour kosher and HGK would be to far apart. my pheno of HGK isn't only has a hint of fuel so something a little more dieselish would be nice i guess idk.

thanks i hope i find a couple nice ones too. my last run of 19 strains only yielded a couple winners. mind you I'm only popping a couple of each and even just 1 or 2 sometimes. i wanted to start off 2014 with something new so i rolled the dice!

i wouldnt be super jealous either, big seed runs have their drawbacks too. last bunch i had 10ish plants that came out downright terrible and i honestly didn't feel comfortable charging more then $25 an ounce to recoup nutes and dirt. its this spring when i settle in on 4-5 finally that il be on ez street. I'm so sick of spending so much time to get a garbage plant. so much bad to be had. i wanna just kick back with a herd of winners and pop like 1 pack at a time to just keep the search going.

Same friend has grown a pack of HGK and ive grown a pack of OG18 and Sour Kush and a few of there OG kush. The Sour Kush is the most diesel out of the bunch. The OG18 was the most skunky/chem and the HGK was very similar to Fuel by CSG with a fuely taste but Fuel is alittle tastier. The OG kush was lemony fuel but not as good as the Sour Kush, OG18 or HGK by DNA/RP. The Sour Kosher was right up there with the best of them.

well thats good to hear, you described all of them pretty well how I've felt about them along the way. i hope it doesn't take too long for these girls to grow out of it. any suggestions? their in amended soil that i made too hot with the azos so h202 and whipe out the azos? h202 and flush real good? just keep on trucking and power through it? any ideas anyone?

Do you have a ppm pen? If so check the runoff with normal amount of water and see where its at now with plain water and continue every watering with plain water until ppm is below 800. My friend said his snapped right out of it once he started plain water and plant started to get ppm to level she could eat.

Do you have access to good worm castings? If so, a generous top-dress will help. The microbes will process the excess N and act as little nutrient storage units in your soil, releasing the goods when the plant needs it. They will also buffer your PH if there are any issues there.

I have a couple Soko going. One 45 days in flower and the other just went into flower. The 45 day one is very lemony smelling like lemon candy, I suspect she will begin getting fuely towards the end. Haven't had any nutrient issues with either one. Have LA Woman, Silver Kush, Martian Kush, Royal Haze and Anubis in flower. Doing the keeper search also. The LA and Anubis are from a couple keeper moms.

Getting ready to pop CC Tahoe Kush and RP Skywalker Kush next.

hmmm that won't cause More N? il take your word for it and give em a dressing the next time i water but that is the exact opposite my gut tells me to do.

I've got Sour Kosher, Kali 47, The Purps, and Blueberry going right now. Oddly the SOKO (that is a nice name haha) has been the easiest of the bunch for me. The Blueberry and Purps have been quite finicky to ferts it seems, but still doing well...

Anyhow there is still a few of those "claw" leaves on the sour kosher, I have found that almost all the kushes I grow do this at least a little bit... I got a purple pheno though which is kinda cool, you can see its starting to turn in the last pic. This could be due to cold night temps though.

I got a freebee of Sour Kosher from Attitude a few months back. I already ran her and took clones. My pheno is heavy on the sativa side. I vegged her out to about 18inches and she stretched to roughly 3 feet. I chopped her about a week early on day 70. She definitely could have gone a bit longer, and probably needed to. I didn't have any major problems with feeding (I use CANNA Coco AB), but she definitely could have gotten by on less, and I use a weak nute mix already. She didn't cannibalize very well, so that tells me more time + less nutrients. The trichs were 95% cloudy 5% clear. Smell is very sour/Afghani. Reminds me of a LA con and Sour D.

I did get a little leaf curl, but I backed off and she straightened out. I just wish I would had a more rapid taper than I did. I didn't let her grow roots after transplanting. I just went straight from a 32oz cup into a 2.5gallon pot on day 1 of flower. I just assumed she didn't respond great in flower due to my woman-beating, which I'm sure didn't help.. but I bet that leaf curl was from N.

Next round I will let her stretch her legs a little. She seems to have great bud to leaf ratio, great bud structure, great everything other than flower time.
