Awesome, man..... Ugh!... One of those "So many Strains, So little time" moments here... -_-..
If it were me, I would def use 5+ gallon pots, especially on sativas/Sativa Dominate.... bigger the pot, the wider they grow... they even out more, instead of growing just straight upward.. I'm sure you already know, but sometimes, we just underestimate the stretch..... Shit, I got bud rot on my Bubba Kush this past grow, and I've been growing for over 10 years.... Those are some beautiful nug though.. Damn..... So many damn strains on my mental list of upcoming strains...... Sometimes I wish plants were not clone-able..lol... So I can just go through all my seeds, and stop cloning, and regrowing..... But then again, we wouldnt be able to salvage all the winners.. -_- and I'd never have Blue Dream in my veg room..... okie....
I cant believe there are some people out there that just buy seeds once, and just keep growing the same genetics forever by cloning.....Hard to believe, but I know some of those peeps.....
Did you clone these, Skunk?.... And where there any diff phenotypes? one better than the other?

Thanx fella, and I didn't have the space at the time of growing these to train them out as I run a 24/7 flower room and have many different strains in my flower room at a time all in different stages of flower too (SOG style like grow op). So smaller pots is how I roll here
I did get a range of pheno's outta SHJ and all were killa too, it was hard to pick a favourite tbh. Comin from the parent strains ~ one mainly "Casey dom'", one all "Sour D dom'" and the rest were a mix of casey/sourd/haze hybrids as you'd expect. I did take clones from all the pheno's but once they were rooted they're not kept by me anymore
. I like to move on and like try something different once I've finished a strain, only keeping clones for mothers for myself if I really like the strain a lot. Like I've done with GS-OG & Tahoe OG but I lost my Tahoe mothers to cal diff that I didn't catch in time. My GS-OG mother "Daisy" though is with a close friend for now, as my veg closet is full to capactiy with my next grow vegging away nicely atm. There are so many grade AAA strains around and I can't keep them all so tough choices have to be made sometimes as to whats kept in the end.
I pity gowers & smokers who never try anything new tbh, but in the end it's them who's missin out really lol, so more there is for people like us to try mate

They should do mate, all 11 of my SHJ seeds here just flew outta their shells. The SSSDH is their (CSG's) main breeding stud so you should have a killa in the mix there too imo.

Yes! They both did pop out of the dirt. out of the 4 strains i'm starting only the SSSDH have popped up so far. Shows vigor early on thats good! A friend grew this strain and brought me a nug, and i'm not the worlds greatest grower by any means, i'm still a newbie but this guy is behind me in his growing ability and that nug was an amazing high so I had to try it myself.
I should have done wet paper towel in a ziplock bag method but I opted for the quicker seed in a shotglass method, which since I've learned doesn't work well because it can suffocate the seed. Sometimes we get lazy.

see? someone who's been brainwashed into thinking "dank" = quality would dismiss this awesome sounding (and to me, LOOKING) gear because they think a strain isn't any good unless you can smell it a mile away and it's has hashplant/white widow tricrhome overload when if you have QUALITY THC, a little fuzz goes a long freakin' way! all the things people that don't know shee about getting high = bag appeal are indicators of pure schwag to me.

I grow for he love and it's true there's not much that gets far from my jars lol, I don't have too many friends anymore either as trusted people are hard to find lol. After my best friend of 10 years tried robbing me I've been way more wary of people face on tbh. Only my cuz gets cuts from me personally but he makes sure they get out there for me from there. I grow a strain clone it and share it out, I was the same with Bud too but like I said I'm wary around folk now lol.

i TOTALLY get where you're coming from on the "friends" front. pretty much EVERYONE acts the fool sooner or later. i give everyone one chance and then fuck 'em. that's probably why i like getting high so much... you don't have to put up with anyone's shit to do it. a lot of people become even more annoying when you're high too. LOL i totally get it.

i just read the ENTIRE thread & looked at the pics. freakin' cool! i think i'm going to have to do a little planning ahead for all of the 12 week strains i'm planning on growing. looking at your grow, somehow i don't think they're going to like being crammed together in 3 gallon pots sea of green style. i'm not really growing for maximum yield as much as breeding for maximum strains & testing. the C99s should get out of the way quickly and the steel shelf units i'm buying to use as supports for my lights on beams should be really good for LSTing tops. were i not mixing so many strains, i'd SCROG.
you know, i never made a mental note of the strain name here when i visited the first time and just followed a link back from another thread where someone's looking to get into sativas. i'm glad i did so i could soak the useful info in about LST & supercropping. i was thinking actually of trying to start the 12 week strains flowering early to stunt them a little. i wanted to have pics of plants that hadn't been manipulated with pruning or topping & in their natural state. anything over 5 feet tall is a bit too much for indoors once you add another foot for the pot, a foot for the lights and 18 inches of clearing.
what do you think about letting the plants grow up to around 5 feet and then just scrogging their tops? it'd screw light penetration up i'm sure. i really need to just get a modern grow guide that covers all of the techniques AFTER sea of green & hydroponics.

and it SUCKS! i can't tell you how many teaspoons are in a pint, how many pints are in a quart and how many quarts are in a gallon (4?). the metric system is soooooooo much easier! you want to convert between units? just move the decimal point!
