No, I've smoked headbanger and also a headbanger x Gelato 33 cross....I haven't tried his sowahh, but don't have to in order to know it's not the real deal sour.

Not hating on Karma or trying to discredit his work, but it's a completely different thing than the original sour diesel.

Sour Diesel isn't ecsd.

Sour diesel isn't JJ (topdawgs) Sour diesel.

It's around in clone form....but held tight like dude said above.

I'm from the NYC area and rarely run across the real deal anymore....I think 2013 was the last time....I know it still exists, but DEFINITELY not in seed form.

I have heard rave reviews from old school growers who have grown out everything and they say that Karma's Sowahh is the best it gets. He is using the Reservoir seeds version, from circa 2004ish which is actually a cross with Soma's NYCD and I think the original ECSD clone. I've read a lot of people that have tried many different versions, seeds and cuts, say the Reservoir seeds SD was/is the best. But its basically gone.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Dr Greenthumb's is legit. For those of you who can afford his stuff.

You will never replicate a clone only strain thru seed. Karma has always been transparent that his Sour D mom is his own keeper cut of Rez's Sour IBL.

There's a very old cut of sour diesel still in Hawaii called the "Koi" aka "Lilikoi," it is the same plant that was featured in Jason King's cannabible.

I would not run greenthumbs anything even if someone paid me.

Dude was, probably still is, charging $50 a single seed.. lol He has been around for a long time and I have yet to meet anyone running clones from their gthumb seeds.

Rez is back selling seeds and claims to still have the old cut, and is selling the line as the original sour d IBL. Too much drama and sketchy things for me to purchase, but for someone who is desperate.

And they're even more expensive than Greenthumbs. BS. I bet it's top shelf stuff tho. I grew that strawberry diesel back in the day from Seedbay auctions and it was one of a kind... thick calyxes, small leaves, prettiest bud I've ever grown...

I think it was 200 for the SD IBL he was selling...we will be getting to it soon...running g unit next...got a pack of the SOWAH as well...reshipping stuff to a few friends in the UK has paid off well for me with that!
Got @Tony Greens PTG Blacks in flower now...one wreaks just like SD!
Got a few other SD seeds as well from a few others and a few cuts over at my buddy's house...we are looking for the best sour d or representation...oh and Shoreline will definitely get a look through as well as I understand it's worth it.
Over the next year we will be running these looking.

I was looking through my 25 year old seeds and I found a misplaced bag of a single seed of dr greenthumb east coast sour diesel and 3 seeds of turkish cookies.....

I guess ill be joining you as its germinating now, along with 2 turkish cookies, I also have diaries of ecsd by greenthumb here on rollitup if your interested in what youll find, its couple years back

I also found multiple bags of thousands of sour d seeds i made from cali connection way back in like 2010, chucked a random male to a random female.....I actually grew a 6 inch plant in my aquaponics once from a random self made seed a lifetime ago and it 100% came out sour diesel more so then all the others ever....I never found her again, but never tried...

What do the Diesel Heads think about this strain?

I agree. It's like where's Waldo lost in a sea of imposters. Like most notorious strains, is it really logical to believe that any of these bozos were capable of supplying markets across state lines let alone connected to those that actually did?
