First time growing SD - outdoors. A friend gave me two SD clones at the end of June. I have no idea what cut they are, or where their mother came from. But, they are just about the only plants in my garden that have shown NO signs of flowering whatsoever.
Should I be concerned? Are SDs typically late flowerers? They are on the same feeding/watering schedule as my other plants - and they look really healthy now (growing like weeds
). I did pamper them in the beginning (lots of water & good nutes & shaded them for part of the day) because they were leggy and weak, and had a hard time adjusting to full sunlight after being greenhouse raised for the first two months of their lives - but they seem to have bounced back, with a vengeance.
Anyone have experience growing SD outdoors? Are they late flowerers/finishers? Would the fact that they had a rough start have anything to do with it? Any other advice or suggestions?
