I have only grown feminized autoflowers with moderate yield success, 50-60 gram average of a vertical grow but up around 77 grams on a scrog grow. I was gifted a standard , non-feminized, 7 week old Sour D at the very beginning of a 10 week autoflower grow. Can anyone point me in the right direction on flowering time? Does the longer you grow in veg make the Sour D more or less stress resistance? Is there any tricks or tips on this strain.?
This is my plan before any experienced input. On a 20/4 off light schedule, waiting for my autoflowers to mature under 2 x 600 watt hps, I have been doing some LST shaping this ( yet unknown Sex ) female ( original grower thinks it's female by the growth structure of the plant) to get ready to scrog and put back on 2x 600 watt MH when autoflowers are done. After scrogging this Sour D, how long should I wait before switching lights to the 12/12 schedule? Would it help reduce light stress if I went from 20/4 to 14/10 before I went to 12/12?
