Sorry for another molasses question

I'm sorry I've seen molasses questions asked before but I can never find a straight answer. 1- Molasses in veg or just in flowering? 2- up to 1 tbs per gallon of water and every watering? 3- Will it keep in a jug or will it get moldy? Right now my plants take nowhere near a gallon of water so would I be able to let the extra sit for a while until next feeding or do I need to make a new batch every time? I'm using fox farm soil.

1]flowering
2]1 tbs per 4 litres, every watering or not ,is still ok.If you waterless than 4 litres, use less mollasses.
3]better mix and use imediately
happy growing!

I did a little research a while back and 'apparently' feeding molasses during veg is considered useful. But if you intend on doing so may I suggest you research yourself. (if you don't get enough answers here! not being rude):peace:

Oh don't worry you're not rude at all. Believe me I have done research, i just can't find a straight answer. A lot of people say to use on flowering but some swear by using it in veg.

Is quite an extensive read but it's very informative.

From my understanding molasses is beneficial to the soil which in turn becomes beneficial to the plant. It also contains some nutrients.

1-2 tablespoon per gallon(approx 4L).

What I dont understand is why some ppl say use it only during flowering.
If molasses is a good, quick source of energy for the various forms of microbes and soil life then i dont see why feeding it during veg shouldn't be done. Might not be necessary but if u can spend the extra $3 on a jar of molasses and want to give it the best soil to live in then feed it during veg and flowering.

Each to their own though.

Its not needed in the veg. your microbes are feeding on your soil.
Similar to not adding any nutrients to seedlings in potting soil for the first 3-4 weeks
The Humboldt Honey ES is Molasses. You could follow there feeding schedule for your Molasses you intend to use.

It won't increase flavor in you bud if that is what you are looking for. You need Floralicious or some similar product. Basically it is used to help nurture micro-organisms in your soil and to add micro-nutrients.

So they're eating stuff in the soil during veg, then by the time flowering comes along they're out of stuff to eat so then you give them molasses?

I have read it does sweeten up your buds but I'm mainly just curious how it helps the plant grow because I read somewhere while researching use of molasses that it speeds up the plants metabolism making it grow faster.
