Sorghum Vs. Mollasses

I was planning on adding a lil Molasses to my water as I've heard is quite nice to it.

I looked around the house before i bought any and found a jar of "Sorghum Syrup" Just wondering if this is would be the same as regular Molasses made with sugarcane

I bet it will work the same, because it's basically sugar (carbs (but reduced from sorghum instead of sugar cane), and contains contains iron, calcium and potassium, as molasses does. Go for it
