I have been growing and experimenting for some time now,
got my temps and stuff about where i want them , finally ordered 6" inline fan as my ventilation was very poor but worked.
i'am however still looking for a hood, i currently have a batwing and cannot drop it very far (600w),
does anyone have any suggestions on a somewhat cheap hood to get good light to a 4x4 area??

And also my veg room is doin ok now but i need to upgrade lights i think, i currently use 4 32w t8 floro bulbs 6500k
i see ppl talk about t5 do i need new fixtures and all for t5 are t8 ok?

any sugestions or comments on nehting i should add let me know once i get my fan and ventilation will finaly post some pics.

I have a 6" cooltube with the xl reflector. i have mine 1 ft from my budz maybe a lil less w/ no burn at all. Hope this helps, good luck.

I got a batwing too but i cant adjust it like i want to and the veg lights are ok if you only have 1-3 plants,and t5's are no better than the t8's i got t12's as my kitchen lighting its just the size difference.

i too have cooltube in a 4by4 shower it works great. no heat.
with some yo yos can get it really close to tops

just cool tube alone? or somehting with a relfector? any brands or links u can give,... canada friendly lol

I like my Radiant 6"...i picked it up for 120$ not a bad deal. it has great light distrubition for a 4x4 and my tent runs the same temps as the exterior room...there is no noticible heat on the canopy level at 12 inches from tops....with a 1000 watt bulb.
