you did it alright...22% unemployment. record home foreclosures and bankruptcys..YES..YOU DID.
i was referring to healthcare.

the economic meltdown occurred during the previous administration, as you well know.

the stage for the economic trouble was initiated by Reagan's deregulation agenda. that worked well.

are you seriously attributing the economic meltdown to the Obama administration? if so, you should know that you have to be 18 to register here at RIU. you could also get in big trouble with your mommy and daddy.

Dude, you've had this conversation with kool-aid crowd enough to know what's coming next....right?

"Barney frank and bill clinton are responsible for the economic crisis, dumbass! Don't you read drudge or listen rush limbaugh? Haven't you read that shitty novel by some selfish, deranged hag written over half a century ago? Man, you don't you know anything? You're being lied to by the lamestream media, watch more fox!"

Yeah, that is what's coming next. Sad, considering most of us here know it was a complex interplay of factors with both sides sharing a bunch of the blame. But then the politics section would not be so fun....

the irony of the individual mandate lies in its origin with the Nixon administration and later endorsed by old man bush. most recently with romney in mass. these law suits are a joke. the right is criticizing itself.

They were for it before they were againt it....or alternatively.....they were for it before Obama was. Doesn't matter what the issue is, if Obama thinks it, no need to listen to that half breed

Yeah. Bill Clinton did that in the form of fair housing. I am surprised, but people are blaming Obama for the financial problems, I can only assume this is because FOX news said something to the effect.

Its nice to see yet another thread where countless people expose themselves as the retarded CNN vs FOX debate drones.

Yep, Obama managed to set the wheels of a total financial collapse in motion long before ever getting into office....get real

the economic meltdown was excel it at hyper speed through his marxist bull shit he was spewing during the election .
before he was elected he was talking about transparent government bull shit. no more lobbyists . his admin is full of them.
back room deals with ACORN and SEIU.
promised 3 million new jobs. where are they?
if he got his trillion dollar bail out program unemployment wouldnt go over 8%
what happened to all this bull shit he promised before he was elected? thats what it was ..bull shit and anyone with a brain new it was bull shit.
obama is the one who promised to wave a magic wand and everything would be peach's and cream.
people vote their pocket books in this country.and what people understand right now is they had it better economicly under bush and the republicans than under obama and the dems.
bush and the republicans were thrown out basicly because they didnt do what they said they would do..reduce toe size and scope of government.
people didnt vote for democrats to increase the size of government they voted to get rid of the republicans.
the democrats in congress have a approval rate in the teens..harry reids approval rating is 8% and nancy pelosis approval rating is at 11%.
70% of the US population said they would like to see a total removal of incumbants.

Not saying this would work but this is what I think the Democratic strategy is: try to act bipartisan, republicans refuse, compromise on the bill, republicans still refuse. repeat this over and over and a good healthcare bill turned crappy and the republicans are to blame. Breeze through November elections
