my friend had 21 female big bangs in the woods, and a "friend" got pissed at him and stapled them to trees, kicked them over, and ripped them up, also two weeks from harvest! he spent 400$ just in seeds

well that's a little different, it wasnt in his BACK YARD. right behind his house. gated in. Someone burglarized me. They stepped in some dog shit and left some track marks in it from their shoe. I've been to 2 peoples doors knocking, called countless people, rode by the neighborhood crackhead and thiefs houses 5 or 6 times. Im going to be doing this all day, until I get to ask the question "DID YOU STEAL MY PLANTS?" and unload

I am so fucking pissed. This is one of the few things in life that kept me happy; caring for another living thing. I LOVED that plant. It was unique, and beautiful. and it got all ripped up. Sad sad fucking day. Worst Sunday in a long time. I know I didnt lose a child or anything, but I feel like I did lose a very close friend :-(

Step 1: Put another plant in the yard
Step 2: Put a bulldog in the yard
Step 3: Put a CCTV system watching the plant
Step 4: Upload video to youtube
Step 5: PROFIT!!!!

I feel your pain though, I've had it happen to me and it's really not a nice feeling.

That's terrible. I, too, have been the victim of backyard plant snatchers in the past. I empathize.

You are correct in that committing trespass, or burglary, to steal plants is a more severe crime than stumbling upon a guerrilla grow. Guerrilla growers know the risks going in, but a property owner has a reasonable expectation of privacy.

It is truly a shame that some smokers can't understand the impact their theft has on fellow smokers in this regard. It's shameful.

I understand you are angry, but you must be extremely careful in confronting the neighborhood. Perhaps it would be more constructive for you to use the anger to devise a theft-deterrent system for your next grow.

some one stole my dog once in the ghetto.I did the same thing as you are, knocked on doors drove past the houses that I thought knew something or did it.In my case it turned out to be skinheads and a huge fight in the streets.I got the dog back the next day after the fight. The dog was gone three weeks.

It really is a terrible feeling. Someone got me. and they know they got me, and I dont even know who it is. I can't even bare the sight of my torn up soil and crooked roots, some threaded, sticking upward out of the ground. people don't understand. except people like us.

There will be no next grow. I've decided no more outdoor. I don't have any friends now anymore. They can have fun with that they took, the fruits of my long labor and love, and ruin it with their microwave quick-dry blaspheme. I fucking hate thiefs. :finger:

I know what you mean, it's a feeling of invasion, almost like someone stealing another prized posession like your car.

I had one in a pot, mind it was tiny, was just about onto the second set of 5 fingered leaves. I went to check up on it one day and there was just a hole in the ground. I suppose I'm lucky in the aspect that it could've been a male, whereas you know yours was definately female.

You do lose all your trust for the people around you.

And you're right about ruining the early harvest furthermore by quick drying it.
I guess they just don't understand what they cause.

Many growers have been driven indoors due to thieves. Ironically, my outdoor grows became much more focused and efficient once I went indoor. However, because of the success of indoor grows, outdoor is just gravy. I have not lost one outdoor grow to thieves since focusing on indoor. The outdoor losses incurred so far are due to critters.

The only light I have is a 70W metal halide. Haha, I budded a very nice small christmas tree plant but it got too big and started to burn from the halide because I didn't have a hoisting system or anything. I need an HPS. but I loooooooove outdoors :-( fucking THIEVES. Next year, I wanted to go ALL organic, too.

Id be lock and loaded huntin some mutha fuckas down
I felt that way this morning. But Im an adult, I can't go and get arrested for wielding a weapon and using it on someone. I've got suspects, and my friend Karma is on my side, as well as just one other set of ears(to avoid telling people im on the hunt for the thief) listening out for info since he associates with a lot of the people around here

There is nothing lower than a thief. It is the epitome of failure as a human being.
