I love.thst setup. That's what I had in my mind(well to a less cooler extent than your setup!)

When running that pump do you need to use a chiller? That's only reason I wanted to stay no power bc chillers are expensive af. Do you.even need a chiller? Would be awesome if you didn't. Would love to learn more about your setup. Looks perfect af

Those water jets is that into your control res or into the plants tank? I'm assuming control res because roots might get damaged from water jet but hard to tell from a still shot. I love your crafty skills on your setup. Now all you need is some hooks strategically placed on the lid so you can lst with ease haha

The spray bar is In the plant rez. they love it. I don't have it pointed straight at them, the streams hit water first. I have a net structure I'll add one more net higher up soon

Ask me anything about it I'll gladly tell you how I'd did it. It has evolved over a few grows as I learn. I'm still a noob i guess technically I guess lol I don't know when or how one graduates from noob anyway. I'd like an inline supply pump just not had means yet. No air pump or stone

If you’re going to use bulkheads, I’d suggest 2” or 3” current culture bulkheads. They have really cool setups and aren’t hard to replicate if you can work with your hands. This is what mine looks like, I just have it in a 4x4 tent now. It’s worth looking into if you want some other ideas.
Adding a 2 or 4 more buckets wouldn’t be hard at all either.View attachment 5084960
That looks sweet

Here is a fresh shot of the roots in my system. It's in a 12 gal. Rubbermaid tote 16"x24"x15 tall. They are wall to wall and 3-4" thick maybe more.

yours looks the best. ive been passing on the knowledge. he thinks a chiller is mandatory though and i dont know what to say to that. LAst time he had some silver things floating on the top. hydro perox didnt even kill them. some weird lil creatures that could like move a 1/2" at a time never heard of them and couldnt find them online. They were like size of a pencil mark maybe 1/32" small

I myself don't need a chiller and don't think it's a requirement but that's just me. I would really like to run sterile but am not at a point where I can experiment with it.

Yeah they were called spring tails guess they don't do harm but where did they come from!? Putting together a shopping list for your set up. What size piping would you run? I hear some people say 2" from tub to tub and some say 1. Looks like yours is primo so getting all fine details lol no need to reinvent wheel when your rims look nice

I'm super paranoid about light leaks in the reservoirs so covered them. They have black but I have never used I'd say I'd cover it for heat anyway lol. I'm thinking of upping to 3" but don't know if it's needed yet.

Thermal tape has worked great for me. It’s pricy if you buy it, but being on big construction jobs I found endless rolls.
