Some sort of nutrient deficiency, help?

My plants are 20 days old from transplant as clones in Fox Farm soil. I didnt give them any nutrients at all for the first 2 weeks. My first feeding I gave them 250 ppm of FloraNova Grow in RO water. My next watering I just gave then straight RO water. Noticed this discoloration in the leaves this morning and since I have hardly given them any nutes at all yet I figured it is some sort of nutrient deficiency. I just fed them again with 500 ppm of FloraNova Grow in RO water. Can someone please tell me specifically what nutrient deficiency my plants are showing? Thank you very much!:leaf::-P

I didnt feed at all for the first 2 weeks, the plants are full and lush and 3 ft tall so i figured it was okay to give them a very diluted nutrient mix. The bottle calls for 500ppm for "most plants during early growth", so I cut that in half and gave them 250ppm, then I gave them straight RO water after that and about 6 days after I fed them they started showing the signs that you see in my pictures. What do you recommend I do at this point?

This looks to me like a calcium/magnesium or a possible phosphorus deficiency. You said you were using RO water, which is what I run.. Reverse Osmosis does a great job filtering Calcium and Magnesium, so you always have to add lots of that. Cal/Mag are micronutrients, but they almost as important as N-P-K.. They should really be reclassified to macronutrients IMO.. Hopefully this video helps you out.. it looks similar to what you are dealing with.. Keep it Green!

Water only and wait. If it doesn't keep appearing on newer growth then resume feedings but never at recommended doses. The manufacturers just want to sell the stuff and lot of it. Start your feedings at 1/4 strength and water two times following each feed before feeding again.

Thanks hotrodharley, I took it upon myself to run 2 gallons of straight RO water through each pot to flush seeing how I misread my plants and fed them again today at 500 ppm. Plan on letting them dry out for 4-5 days and then just using straight RO water until I flip them (which will be in about 10 days). Thanks for your help!

I now suggest feeding grow nutes in your bloom phase the first feeding. I only use bloom nutes from half-way through flowering. And I use Fox Farms Beastie Bloomz for the micros when I do. Good luck.

I did that for the first time this round and was much happier with the results.

I kept feeding Grow nutes supplemented with bud candy for the first 3 weeks of flower and then switched to bloom.
