He said he was working on it stem by stem or something. If that is the case and that is just a small stem off a larger plant... then it is not done yet.

ok with being able to take constructive critisizm, i am going to come back with a slight defense. i will be the first to say i am a beginner. this is the first time i will se results out of 2 attempts. i dont think the pictures you seen say all. attatched you will find three pics. the two plants are a female to the left and the hermi to the right. with this much experience with the hermi i will be the first to say i wasted my time and resources on this paticular plant. but the female i believe is going to be a decent return.
i did mix the pistil color with the trich color and did think the hermi was ready. but with LISTENING to everyone i went and bought the radio shack 100x-60x microscope for 12.00 bucks and that is really what i needed to do. after seeing the trichs first hand i see what you guys are saying with the color that i need to be seeing. and your right it isnt ready. here are a couple of pictures that i feel will let you see the fruits of my labors a bit better.
the journal i did have was on my phone which since has died and no longer exists. so i cant remember when i put it on 12/12.
two large things that i feel restricted the end yield a bit were i had some bad heat stress at the middle of vegetation due to spiking out door temps. and i also didnt start the nutes untill the second month. i didnt plan my nute schedule at all. nor was i ph'ing my water.
all of which i fell i have gotten way better at since then.
i keep the nute solution at 6.4 PH, i have since then added fans for more ventilating air, and i got hooked up with the FF line of products that i follow the schedule to the T.
there is also two pics, 1 of the female flower and one of the hermi.
dont get me wrong please critic.................

Okay have you chopped all your plants????1rst It is VERY important to know when you started 12/12.2nd I see what looks like a cool tube right??,if so your light was pretty far away thats why your plants stretched so much, the purpose of the cool tube is to reduce heat resulting in being able to put the light closer.3rd were there holes on the bottom of your containers??4rth do you have fresh air intake,Oh yeah one last thing what soil mix did you use??,,,,,,,,,and I agree with darkdestruction I know you said this was your first grow and everybody was being dicks instead of helping, just ignore some folks you keep growing, we all learn from our mistakes.

i stopped cutting once i got replies on this thread. so what you see in the picture is what is left. i only got about 4 branches into the hermi and didn't touch the female.
and i did find some notes i started the seed on 2-7-09. kicked in nutes on3-26-09. changed from 18/6 to 12/12 on or about 4-16-09. (give or take two weeks)
the light im using is a SUNSYSTEM 600 watt HPS air cooled. i have a 4inch in line duct fan for heat extraction. i will be adding a second fan to speed up the air movement.
i kept a distance of 18-24 inches thru most of the grow. as now im maxed out due to the closet ceiling height.
you cant really tell in the pic but i have a door with a air return grate oin the bottom to push fresh air in and the top 18 inches cut off the door with a fan mounted above it to push out the warm air. i would open the windows once a day for about 30-60 minutes for freser air during the cold months and keep the windows open all the time now its warm.
i have a double 5 gallon bucket the one with the dirt and plant has holes to drip down the over flow to the second bucket. once i notice about an inch or so i will flush it. empty the bucket that is. i did notice these tiny little bugs when water collects in the bottom. any clues? i was thinking gnat larva but wasn't sure. i did have a small gnat problem during early veg and i put about an inch of diamatatious earth on the top of the soil. it worked great.
the soil i used was a miracle grow brand veg soil.

As long as you dont touch that female plant for a while than that will be a pretty good first grow. Didnt mean to sound like an ass but honestly you just needed to do some more research, and clearly you have. Good luck
