some leaves are turning brown

Most of the color change is toward the bottom of the plants, also they've been showing yellowish orange. I was wondering if it were related and anyone has suggestions or advise on what to do
 
I believe that would be a nitrogen deficiency. You need a fertilizer with high N, or the first number in the N-P-K ratio,20-15-20, for example. How old are your plants? Are you vegging them or flowering them? Any pics? What kinda growing conditions, such as lights, temps, humidity,etc?
 
What stage are you in? It's common during flowering, especially mid-late. I agree, it's likely an N deficiency, and would be a good idea to use some veg fert on it, unless it's really close to finishing. Another reason leaves die off, is low light levels. Older leaves die off, when they become overshadowed by the rest of the plant. Also, if you've recently let it dry to the point of drooping, you'll get a die-off, soon after it's recovered. You'll lose lots of lower-mid leaves, that way. Quick too, they die within 3-5 days, and there's no stopping it.
 
They've been growing since mid June on 12/12 light since about mid July I'll put some pics up in a few of the plants and there room
 
You won't be needing 20-20-20 ferts, unless your running your plants on 24/0. Its common for the bottom leaves, in my experience to turn yellowish, brown and fall off. You can pick off the bottom leaves, but the plant most likey can use up the water or moisture still left in the dying leaf.
 
OK, then, they're in flower, so it's normal for a nitrogen def. to take place. Think of it as autumn for your plant. As the nutrients are used up, leaves will yellow and die off, but if you fertilized her enough during veg, the plant should have enough stored nutrients to carry her through to the end without needing extra Nitrogen. You can still use flowering nutes, because she'll need more P during flower.

I had the same problem i just started adding some Fox Farms Big Grow Fixed fixed it pretty good probably because of the nitrogen problem. I am a first time grower so when It worked i know it the the fix!
 
the blotchy nature of the leaves looks to me like a ph issue, you can get tester sets super cheap and i can't recommend it enough. you really got to keep an eye on their ph. could also be a little mg deficiency but for now i'd flush them and get a tester soon as you can. and don't worry bout the lil leaves at the bottom, they crisp up like that. if it goes above the bottom couple of nodes you gotta look into it
 
I am a first time grower too, a lot of the stuff i've been picking up on along the way. When i started very first, i was very unprepared. I had the seeds growing from soil in a planter in my living room cuz i honestly didn't give it much hope, to turning out a very decent place for them to keep on growing away from anyone else's attention. Multiple trips to walmart and a few to lowes picking up things as i go.
Also i performed my first cloning(s) this past Tuesday and as you can see in those half pop bottles in the pics. 2nd Day, and they were already standing up holding there own I was and still am amazed.
I owe it to this web site and everybody on here. If it weren't for ya'll I'd be fucked a long time ago. Thanks
 
mg=magnesium. over time you will pick up which nutrients yer babies need and what happens when they dont have any or too much. there are many ways you can manually adjust the ph up and down, but to be honest it's like ten bucks for a bottle of "ph up" and "ph down" that's literally what they're called.

other than ph, i gotta say flushing is SO important! it's one thing i was lazy with at first and it just fucks everything up
 
nah mate, when you give her nutes it can collect in the soil/coco and when it gets too full on it ends up causing the plant to not be able to access any nutrients coz of lockout. have a google and a read. you gotta do it once a week with a fair bang of water, depending on yer pot size i normally use about twice as many litres as what the pot holds. yeah it's a pain in the arse but it's just not worth doing without it. you just pour it through yer pot, carefully obviously and you'll see all the brown shit flow out the bottom.

i'll do a lil list of a few things as i think of and post em, just a few points to start having a read into. i've fucked up every which way along the road (cept bugs, not had any bug issues but i have neem in my coco) and still have 5 times more to learn than what i already know
 
Hey bro when your plants flowereing it's common for leafs to start to turn yellow because when you stop feeding veg nutes and move to flower the plant uses up what nitrogen it has stored in it the plant naturally sheds leaves as it doesn't need them anymore by this process next Time add a tblspn of lime to every gallon of dirt in your container From the looks of the color of
your plants I'd say they could use some you using distilled water??
