FF ocean forest.
The ones in veg have got no nutes, so idk about any nute issues. I use spring water.View attachment 1836283 Ph should be fine in the soil. Could just be normal death, or they are really crouded but idk why that would do anything. Thanks ahead of time.View attachment 1836280

god those pics suck. Look at the one with all four leaves in it. That gives the best picture of it.

what are you running for a lighting system? FF ocean forest usually needs some calmag from what I've read...don't drown the plants with water, just give them what they need and let them dry out good, the more water you put through the soil the less nutrients will be available since you are not giving them any...FF ocean forest is suppose to be a pretty rich soil, but like I said if you overwatered them it will strip the nutrients out faster. Another issue might be light penetration to those leaves in the lower/middle that are just not getting enough light along with some calmag deficiency.

the more I think... would getting nutrient water on the leaves make them do this? A sort of magnifying glass effect (like water on them with light) and nutes make it worse?

They are so crouded sometimes I get water on the leaves by accident.
As for cal mag def. is possible. but its sort of a rare thing. its on like one or two leaves on one out of 8 plants.

yeah if you get your leaves wet with nutrient water this will most certainly happen :D

I try to water as low as I can to try and prevent splashing :)
