I think that light is way too hot to make up for any gain you would get from the extra light. Besides the fact that you'd have to hang it too far away because of all the heat it generates, halogen lights are probably some of the least efficient lights you can find for growing.

well the cheapest way is gonna be CFL's you don't need many right now..

go to home depot get like mm a 4 pack of cfl bulbs daylight thats like 3$... then get 2 plugs and 2 y splitters thats about 6$ and get a extension cord with like 2 or 3 plugs and that will be cheap and easy and ok FOR NOW later you will need to buy much more

if you wanna keep this a small project then get 4 daylight bulbs and 4 soft white bulbs CFLs 4 for veg 4 for flower

here man go get one of these bulbs if you wan to add UVB to your grow and it plays a benefit throughout the entire grow thc is produced in the entire plant not just the bud I think a lot of people forget that. The bud is just the most potent enjoyable part to smoke but increased THC production throughout the entire life of the plant will increase potency. however it will need its own timer because you should only run it 6-8 hours a day over exposure will have a negative effect and despite the fact that its a cfl it needs to be kept at a distance of 10'' because ultra violet rays carry a lot further.
