:These are some pictures I took of our not quite ready buds. Hope you like looking at them - I do. This is our first grow, but we're having fun. So far so good. We've made it to nearly the end: we have 2 plants with great looking buds for our personal use. What more could we want?

And I know what you mean about seeing that whole other world under our noses. My wife is into photography, and she's big on taking nature pics, really up close. You should see some of the stuff she captures.....its amazing how she sees it in the first place to take a pic of it lol. She's particularly fond of water/dew droplets and frost.

thanks for the encouragement and the add one week advice; And I am actually a woman, not a man, but it seems everyone is a "dude" these days.I like photography a lot too esp. macro. I'll have to try the frost on macro; hadn't thought of it - been too busy taking pix of the plants

not a "tard" at all, but the poodle in the picture IS a bitch (and my bud)
the key to up close photography is using the macro setting on your camera - most have them and a steady hand or better yet, a tripod. Also, when you download them to your computer, cropping in close. It's also hard to tell color of trichs if the color balance is off - do you have a program that deals with images? If so, try to get the color to be what you see with your eye, not what the camera is picking up from the lighting. I looked at your grow journal and it looks awesome.
