Some changes, wondering which is showing.

My about me has my ser up listed, the mother plants are in the veg tent.

Mother plant imshowing signs, Mother Of Berrys (Blueberry haze X Jerry Berry) gets Mother Plant solution which I think lacks Nitrogen on purpose. The tent had a 250w LED removed and now just a 130w LED so its cold and dark in there, almost wondering if it is on the line of flower and veg, long pistols shooting out everywhere but just thought it is due to being mature as heck, close to 90 days old in 3.5 trade gal or 5 gal, depending on what the seller decided to choose. I go elsewhere for pots after learning the trade gal ordeal, but not relevent right now.



This one I am not worried about, but lots of pistol activity.


It kind of looked that way always anyway, but maybe suffering from lack of light now. 2x2 coverage for the light that is up. Lime green due to super fast growth, people that see it weekly cannot believe how much they grew, but the MOB, kinda a signal of something. Usually the vains arent darker than the leaf like that. What is it lacking? Am I good? Just Mother plant solution effects?Only started that solution about 30 days ago.

Yellowing at the top is not lack of N, that kinda yellowing starts at the bottom. I'd favor a micronute deficiency, maybe iron or zinc or sulfur. You mentioned changing the lights and the nutes, but didn't say when you decreased the light wattage. I'd be wanting to look more closely at PPM and pH of nutes and potting mix. Maybe roll back some of your changes.

One week ago I moved the lights, and rhe EC is to be 1.4 - 1.7 and mine is at 1.5 or 1.6EC PH 6.1, coco and perlite so neutral PH.

Temps have been 55-63F but I am actually about to buy heat and probe low watt because I bet I can get good clones in there with or without a dome because it practically is one giant dome. Few extra 130w LEDs for temporary, until I stepup my game. HLG. Will do this in like 2 weeks.

I very rarely exceed 1.4 EC for the whole grow.

Are you automating your feeding or feeding by hand?

I’ve found 1.0-1.3 EC to be best for my grow, seen a lot of others that don’t tend to go up above 1.5EC.

depends aswell on the nutrients of choice too. Canna and Dutch Pro don’t need to be very high EC to grow top quality stuff.

From seed to these pics here, about 90 days no training or anything, about to get supplies and cuttings.

Yeah I ran into this before on jere but also people that gonup to 3.0 or the 2.0’s. That thread taught me it was as easy as following the back of rhe bottle or feed chart if you have to search and pull it up. Start on low side and slowly go up. Trying to do 1.3 is hard, requires diluting which learned was just not needed, just a douce if you feel like being accurate. Even had to be rhat guy and ask on here about runoff, so let me include the runoff when I checked was 1.2 going in and running off at .5 or .8 EC…. lol

I hand feed just the volume of pot to 20% runoff and has not asked for more than that. Feel like autofeed will need narrow pots for best distribution. Hand watering the teo mothers not much to ask though. Ijust saw a water can with a hose tube on it. Genius! If you cannot reach well.

With many alterations I made a diy autofeed system by the end of this thread lol.



i found 4 T’s per 3Gallon (11L) pot to work at full saturation with a 2000LPH pump on for 1 minute each time. This fed 2 plants to full saturation during the 1 minute on time.

I also monitor my runoff from time to time.

with that much of a reduction in EC of the runoff if you were only feeding once per day I would have upped the feed to around 1.5 and monitored.

If it was my system I would up the Fertigation frequency and test again.

I would never select a mother plant without running it at least two cycles
Clone to clone till I knew if was worth mothering
You seemed to have skipped the important step of pheno hunting

I realized after not being able to go off the harvest time frame, that it could be much much longer, than say, 45-55 days, that was another reason I know I messed up a little.

I did this to practice working with mothers and clones, this is why I did say F it and planted more seeds, this was just taking more legal limit space. Had two mothers so I can really take a crack at learning to clone and have manh many cuttings as chances. One may survive, we will see. I want this Blue Venom though, more than the MOB even thkugh never smoked it but many say it is amazing. Love the structure and phenos.

Just realized you can always take cuttings too, and less mothers.

I can always put them to flower too, but yea I am aware of this just recently.

You can take cuttings from every plant then flip to determine sex
That way you will always have the option of male in veg when you need him
And you can kill the ones you flipped
And screw plant limits and tell no one

Also was considering just making bulk seeds, kinda better bang for the effort. Yeah I have others I live with, just as entitled to be here as me, and have to feel ok about this. They do.

I’ve kept 3 cuts from 2 different plants of my last harvest just incase I found a keeper and as it would happen I have 2 keepers lol. 1 that is heavy on visual THC and another that has serious weight to it.

it was 4 cuts but I let one go.

I took the cuts around early February and each time they rooted I was cutting the roots off and then cloning them again and allowing them to root.

then repeat until you’re ready etc to run them.

I’ve kept them under a 24w T5 prop light since then “recloning” them each time I needed to slow them down during the flowering of the plants they came from.

I won’t be using them until another few weeks as I’ve been enjoying my down time too much lol.

I am looking for confident yield for my skill level, short flowering time and my 5x2.5 half SOG clones and other half on big 5 gal using scrog or mainlining to touch on those skills. To earn my milestones quicker, looking for THEE shortest flowering time strains to harvest monthly or every other month minimally.

Any available strains let me know but have many seeds to get rid of, already starting to have harsh germinating/seedling growing seeds. Then the seed bank seeds, then will mother the ones with short flower time and yield and fit potency somwhere between the two. Low potency is ok if I can smoke a quarter of it a day lol Not when I pay for it full tier!

Autos in veg room to harvest as well. Trying to get that perpetuating garden engine to turn over! lol.

Yeah this is why I posted, been handling them for over 90 days and these issues only just came up and worse over night, been a min since looking into nute issues since following the mfg was good enough for a while, so forgot about mobile and imobile nutes, it is mobile. Or lack of light? EC 1.6

Keep reminding myself one said micro nute defeciency. Will tap water in nutes help v.s distilled? Tap has those misc small micro nutes correct? Will snap a photo in a second, but it is even worse now. About to water 1.5 times a day as suggested. If I could do tap, with Mother plant A and B that would save water and would certainly not mind watering extra. System coming soon but damn, hope this is not example of distilled water issues being so naked in micro nutes.
