SOLO Cup Grow!

I would say those have pretty well exhausted their room. Are you seriously not transplanting? At least put them in 1 gallon pots/pails/buckets from the Dollar Tree.....

is this 12-12 start to finish? I thought of a taking a whole bunch of clones and going 12/12 and making a sog grow, before. Keep us updated, i would
like to see how it finishes.

I take it ypopu aren't looking for a big yield.
Those will become root bound and you won't get alot out of them.
I put mine in smart pots and I get big yields.
At least put them in bigger pots.
The roots need to strech and grow, not be cramped up in a small cup.

They look like they should be transplanted soon, I understand you would like to do an experiment to see what you get, try at least 2L. Compare 1 gallon and 2L if you want to experiment. Other wise the solo cups are going to be very disappointing, Even if you do not care about your amount at harvest, you should care about the quality imo, and show the beans a little more respect lol. They wanna grow, let em grow!

edit: People do wonders with 2L hempy SOG check them out

The thing about the solo cup grow is you have to keep them very small throughout their life otherwise you will get rootbound and start having problems you can't seem to fix.

They are on 12/12 so will only about double in size. Look at some of the yields people have gotten from the SOLO cup contest. Some pretty good stuff there and they are in SOLO cups their whole life too.

Go for it man.. I've done a few solo cup grows yielded 3/4-1oz per with heavy sativas... lower nute concentration, increase transpiration and its no biggie.. foliar feeding will help a lot too

None of my plants showed any signs of being root bound...just gotta give em the amount of nutes they need without burning the roots off.

Yeah I have already fed them nuts twice. Low dose. Going to bump it up next time I feed because they handled it perfectly.

I have a solo Cup Flowering.

She is root bound and I over feed the shit out of her. She never once received just water.

Nothing seems to harm her.

Its a fun little experiment

She is lollipopped too.

I agree with the guys telling you to at least get a one gallon pot. I have grown quite a few small one gallons in my time and you can get a decent single cola on them. I used to use the standard black nursery #1 pots, and grew them SoG style (like 30 flowering at a time, perpetual and would be harvesting 5-10 every couple of weeks.) Just became a pain in the ass hand watering all the time because a 1 gallon healthy plant needs to be watered during heavy flowering sometimes twice a damn day, lol.

This isn't a whole lot different from my 12/12 from clone setup. However, I'm using 2L coke bottles so there's a bit more room.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out.

I will take some pics after I feed them in a few. They have started to stretch some but I'm not to worried. Haven't added SCROG yet. Damn Halloween. Wife and kids keeping me busy.

You can grow quality weed in a Solo cup, just not a bunch of it. Personally, I think solo cup grows are killer. There is a user on RIU that was the winner of High Times Top Hot Pot Shot of the Week using beer cans and CFL's. He pulls 4 oz's a month doing a SOG style grow. His grow pretty much shoots down the idea you can't grow quality weed in a small container.
