Soil to Hydro

Hello

My first crop is currently in its 3rd week of flowering and I have clones about 4 weeks behind followed by seeds another 4 weeks behind.

They have all been done in soil and despite making the classic newbie mistakes of overwatering and overfeeding I feel like I am starting to get the hang of growing. My 2nd attempt at germinating seeds was much more successful for example.

So far everything has been done in soil in 2 cabinets.
I am building a new room 14'x7' and my plan is to move everything to hydro.

I want to start growing about 6 different moms in 5 Gallon hydro pails.

Eventually I am thinking about a 3 stage process. 2 weeks in some sort of rapid cloner (T5's). 3 weeks veg (600HPS or 400MH) 8 weeks or more flower (1000HPS)

So I have a few questions.
As I don't yet have any hydro gear or rapid cloner how can I start my mums form clone or seed to eventually move to the pails? What medium and watering/feeding method should I use and how big should they be before putting in the pails?

Also when I eventually get to start clones would this combination of medium and methods work?

2 weeks rapid cloner - Aeroponics? No Medium?
3 weeks Veg - 2'x3' 15 plant deep water culture or Flood and drain table. Medium?
8 weeks flower - 3'x4' 15 plant DWC or Flood and Drain. Medium.

I would like the movement of plants from table to another to be very easy and the tables should be fairly low maintenance and forgiving.

One last question. Is it feasible to take a plant currently in a 5 Gallon Soil and move it to a hydro pail?

Many thanks

Why switch them to hydro they are soil you'd clog pumps and kill valuable root and most likely the plant
