Update:

Not looking good:fire:. Just got the new nute's today, they look bad!!! ph been steady at 6.0 since last post. after i posted , i put the roots in a h2o2 bath and got some of the brown stuff off, had some black bugs in the roots? Then replaced with ph balance distilled water no nutes

ok looks like root rot?After adding ff nutes 1/2 streath, i woke up this moring with this!!!:?:

well i was thinking i was getting light into the rez,because the temp been steady at 70f. So i panited the rez and foam plates,cleaned rez air stones,lines with 1/2 bleach.Refilled with tap water at 6.0 no nute and 8 tsp of h2o2

well i see life coming back to the roots :-P took a week



UPDATE:
Add 1/2 nute on the 11/6 on the 11/8 i started to see the root coming back so i washed them with 50% h2o2 and tap water, that help with the new roots forming
i bought some 1/8 inch foam reflective tape from lowe's to cover the rez sides to keep the temps down,was getting to hot 75-80f. i also bought online hydrozyme put 60mil into the 8 gal rez today,hoping it will help:confused: They took a beating:sad:

UPDATE:

well everything is going good,roots are growing great and no diff on the new growth but the tips a little brown.lower the ppm to 600 from 800:bigjoint:

its ok your going to have a few probs is your grow. think of this as learning and fine tuning, becuz when you get you money seeds your not gonna have to worry as much once your technique is down. just keep paying attention to your plants they'll let you know what they need. other wise great gtrow and ima be checking on ya

well is been cold here low 50,so my rez drop too 68 room, temp too 70. now im gettting foam in the rezs nothing bad i think? everything is looking ok

any ideas on this?:wall:

Nothing against any of its members....but I wouldn't be caught dead with a picture of sponge bob in my signature!!!...lol
 
well looks like the root rot is back:wall: had a week of new root growth. got the rez temp down to 60 water looks cloudy and the slime it milky white not brown this time. got some green fuse and superthrive on the way, hope they will hold out intil the weekend:?:

ya but not sense last rez change,there eating and drinking!,thinking i going to make a new rez from a igloo cooler to keep rez temp down when it is hot?getting some black leaf tips anyone know was causes it?
 
Did you still have no medium in the net pots you got? Maybe light is getting in threw them? Forgot about this thread glad you got them going hope you figure out the rot. I doubt that foam was a good thing.
