Soil to coco

Dumb-is question from a newb: what's the best way to take a plant that I started in soil and transplant it to coco? Should I break as much soil as possible out of the roots, or should I just move that soil with the roots into the coco. Currently the plant is in a plastic cup. I'm not quite ready to transplant quite yet, but I will be soon.

Don't move it yet. Let it establish a good network of roots, let it grow in there for a while. At that size the root structure will not likely be well developed yet.

Then just transplant it normally into a larger pot filled with your coco blend of choice. It should do fine.
