I sent off a sample of my outdoor grow aera soil to be tested. Was told i dont need to fertlize at all next year. Can someone explain these numbers.
ph 6.9. Buffer ph 7.3 Organic matter %6.7 phosphorus 620V potassium 708V Magnesium 649H Calcium 4701H CEC 24.9 BASE SATURATION- K% 6.1 Mg 19.1 Ca 60.2
All i have done to this site for a few years is to collect leaves and grass in the fall till it in with some agriculture lime, couple of bags of processed chicken manure, 3 4 3 on the bag, and side dress throughout the growing season with the chicken manure and a little bit of worm castings.
I asked about the nitrogen level and was told that nitrogen moves around too much to measure. He said most farmers would give their left nut, hell they would give up both their nuts for numbers like these.

I live on a hill. I over fertilize my garden in the fall. Dump seafood shells all over, plant piles of fish in holes which I dig up in spring and redistrubute.
Use composted manure mostly as soil dump a few bags in fall and then a heavy dump in early spring.
A few bags of chicken shit get tossed in.
There was a lot of bamboo on the property and bamboo nutrient requirements are different than regular plants, they pull out nutrients and other stuff not used by regular plants. So when bamboo groves were removed for farming they left very fertile land.

As global warming continues the garden is more active over a longer period of the year than ten years ago. I have had artichokes survive the winter.
