Quick question was looking into the best low maintenance soil to use from start to finish?

Quick question but not quick answer. All soil needs some maintenance. What do you not want to do?
You want to fertilize less and not have watering issues. Ugh theres Miracle-gro soils that work darn good. Not organic of course and every strain ends up with a similar taste, due to the slow release fertilizers. Easy, nice buds can be grown with it.
There's lots of organic soil to use. Not too much difference in them.
Maybe you are needing an amendment or conditioner. What kind of maintenance do you want or not want to do?

FoxFarm. Get a 20$ bag can get a few 4-5gals out of it.
OF/30% perlite mix.
Transplant when needed
top off soil with new soil. Rinse and repeat.

Couldn’t agree more. From what you say organic pre-made soil with powder amendments throughout the grow. Should get about 5 weeks or so from your soil if it’s prepared well. From then you have to amend.
Is this soil for autos or photos?

This makes me think. Remember saw an episode of the biggest organic production in the USA. The guy name James said that he reuses all the soil they've got. Chop here plant new one next to the old position the next day. No worry about the root ball.
I think that is a low maintenance soil. I want one just like that.

Hey cannablitzz I was planning on getting fox farm. Do you mind explaining those directions again just as cut and dry as possible. Do I need to add nutrients such as cal-mag, micro, bloom etc. If I'm using fox farm?

Fox Farm Ocean Forest is pretty loaded with nutrients but they will be depleted after about a month. I started with FFOF mixed with perlite and Advanced Nutrient Micro/Grow/Bloom. Then I moved to ProMix HP mixed with perlite, ammended with garden lime, and switched to the Sensi Bloom and Grow lineup from AN, and I had better results with that. My next batch of plants is going to be with living soil and organic dry amendments. I've been told this will be less work to manage, won't cause any significant increase or decrease in yield, but that I will be much happier with the flavor and overall bud quality. I've been very happy with the flavor and bud quality so far so I'm very interested to see how my next grow goes.

You said you started with FFOF and advanced nutrient- Micro,Bloom,grow is that a brand of liquid nutrients? If so I would start the recommended dosages of each nutrient, moxed in with water after a month and a half or when the plants shows signs of deficiency?
That would be followed by changing soils around flowering stages to ProMix HP, for the remainder of the grow?

Sorry for the confusion. Those were all completely separate grow setups. When I first started growing I grew in FFOF with Micro/Grow/Bloom (It's one of Advanced Nutrients lines and I wouldn't suggest dosing that at more than half their recommended dose). Then, after I had a few grows under my belt, I tried ProMix HP with the Sensi Line from Advanced Nutrients. I liked that better and stayed with it until my current grow which is getting close to harvest. And finally, I'm going to try an all organic grow for my next group of plants.
Based on my experience so far, I personally felt like the ProMix HP was the easiest to work with, and it seemed more consistent with water retention to me when compared to FFOF.
