soil Ph meter work for rockwool?

I need to start making sure the Ph in the rockwool cubes i use as grow media is good.
Will the soil Ph meters ( the ones with a square head and long metal rod that you stick into the media) work for rockwool?

No, they don't even work for soil. Wildly inaccurate and should be avoided because they are so inaccurate.

Test strips would work better. A digital, better yet. Even a cheap one.

You don't test the rockwool per se, but rather the liquid that's going into/on the rockwool.

More meters that you can shake a stick at. Loads of technical info too. I got my Milwaukee SM-101 from them.

The digital aquarium pH meter sounds right, but I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about, hence the link.
