Whats up all? First grow, first post, doing everything outdoors, I got a bunch of 2 ft by 2 ft holes(real deep ones), already bought about 20 bags of Fox Farm(ocean forest), 2 big ass bags of chemical free perlite, and top of the line bat shit. So, each hole uses like 3 bags of soil(1.5 cubic ft each bag) how much perlite should i mix in to each hole? and should i add the bat shit now? because i noticed it already comes mixed with the guano and worm castings and mosses and all that good stuff, and if i do add it now, how much?

Also, I noticed a lot of outdoor growers line their holes with garbage bags or put pots in the hole, whats the advantage of doing this? THANX!

Welcome

20 bags of ocean forrest, DAMN! you got more $$$ into your outdoor then many do there indoor. You may enjoy some videos i have seen of an outdoor grower. Do a google or you tube search for "Brown Dirt Warrior" Hes the man, he may even be a member here i'm not sure.

are you using other FoxFarm products? Ocean Forrest, you won't need to ad Bat guano for several weeks. Why do you feel the need to ad a ton of perlite? Next question, are the feds flying in your area looking for guerilla farmer's patches? Believe it or not perlite can give away your crop location if a lot is used sparingly.

I just thought weed like perlite at least from what i read, plus its my first time and i'm worried about over watering so i thought it might help, and no im not using other foxfarm products, should i stick to one company as much as i can?
