I live in a hot tropical area and I just looked at my girls. There is this white fuzz that started growing literally overnight. It was not there yesterday. It looks like youd see in the soil if you were trying to grow mushroom spores. I dont know if this is going to turn to mold or if i need to treat it with something? It has been humid and rainy but not excessively rainy latley. I did add in fox farms all purpose fertilizer a few days ago (dry stuff you mix in with soil). I have not used it before. I usually have a fan circulating in the area but i have not latley. I will put it back on them once i know what to do about this? I didnt want the breeze to spread spores or something if this is a bad thing? Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Soak the top of your medium with hydrogen peroxide and water. You may want to inoculate your medium with beneficials to keep a handle on that in the future and replace ones the peroxide kills. Hope that helps you.
