I was wandering with the mediums in hydroponics can i just use soil as a medium?

Soil will clog up your equipment, I would think. Also fuck up your PPMs, PH, and nutrient concentrations but I've never grown hydro so don't listen to me.
You could do it with fabric growbags and some kind of soilless medium

You could make a hydroponic drip system to automatically water your plants in soil... if you really wanted to.

Ok if use a run - to - waste system, it says that these systems use a medium very similar to soil. and the ph and other things i can fix right? I mean if i watch it closely have bigger tubes and pipes.?

Ok explain that to me please. Im very new to all this, what is a drip system and what would i need

hydroton clay pellets, lava rocks, rock wool... basically all I would use.

Don't know, I was never interested in building one. I bought all the equpment for hydro Thread here ...but I never used it. Requires too much attention.
I know this phrase is way overused but try googling it, google has been my mentor
