Hey, Iv always grown in hydro never done soil, i use DWC and have up until now only ever had the space for 1 plant tho they usually end up like 4+ ft tall and yielding 6oz., but now finally have a tent and more wattage so wanna do more plants but think that having more than a few DWC buckets would be a major pain in the ass to maintain, so thought it would be easier to put a few soil ones in there aswell, but if i remember right i read somewhere once that you shouldn't mix em, as soil contain microorganisms or whatever that will spread to the clean hydro plants, but i haven't been able to find any more info on this since, so if any1 has any experience with growing them together let me know if all was well. Naturally i don't want my DWC plants affected as they grow to be hugh and yield a lot, they are my priority. Nice1

Be sure to sterilize your dirt first before bringing it into your op. Pot plants don't mind a little dirt, it's filth they can't stand. Be sure any composted materials are fully degraded into ferts before using. For example, when I use cow manure I carefully select each patty from the field. If I see any signs that the patty has been urinated apon I won't use it etc.

Thanks every1 for the input, good news to hear, think i am gonna be doin some soil plants for the 1st time then. I figure as long as i spend the cash on some high grade soil pest and disease free. Any input on the best potting mix available out there let me know since iv never had any experience with soil. Nice1
