Looking to build a sea of green setup for a 5' x 2.5' tent. Was going to build it 4' x 2' and pack as many plants into the space as possible. Would like to use one central reservoir to make it easier. Would something like this work? Any specifics on pipe diameter and pot size would help.
That will work but if I was you I would get a 2 x 4 flood and drain tray with a lid, cut holes in lid for 2 inch net pots then just drop rooted clones into it straight out of an aero cloner and flood 30 mins on, 30 mins off. Way easier to clean than all those pipes. No medium. Its what I do but I use 1 metre x 1 metre trays. Works awesome.

You will need some trellis to support them when they stretch.

I was mostly wondering if something like this could handle the roots of small clones.
Ive grown small trees in them
They work awsome but

The only issues are roots can slow water flow

And sparyers can get clogged

But they are a pretty easy system to use

Edit to add they are a bitch to clean lol

If I am not mistaken you have already been told. If you have your heart set on that system, go ahead and buy it and learn your lessons first hand. Its a good way to learn but a better way to learn is to open your eyes and ears.

I'm sorry. I don't understand the negativity. I'm just trying to get help from more experienced people on what works best. Trying to get the most out of my small space.

But for a strictly sea of green set up flowering clones

The areo setup us nice cause you can clone and grow in it.

Just have to watch the sprayers

I dont regret growing in the nft setup
Though as it was a good system and experience

They all have their ups and downs. :)
