how did you get to 170ml
if i run max sterilization dosage with this appliaction based on man recommendations it comes up to 100ml
this is almost twice as much needed for killing everything
20 gallons = 75.7 Liters

1.7 ml/L of 35% h2o2 X 75 liters = 127 ml...

I fucked up... rounding off the number.. dislexia took over... but knowing that they can handle up to 10ml/L I wasn't too far off...

But that is if you believe in Al's teachings... and you know I do...

Sorry... I suppose they were right when they said I should have stayed in school...:clap::razz:

But yeah.... if you are NOT using anything organic in your soup, I would up the dose to

1.7 ml/L of the 35% ...

or

1ml/L of the 50%....

...

But I am not familiar with 90% of the products you use.. so go with what you know....

but it cured my "problem" in one change of res.

well guess again, thy were wrong
and your dyslexia actually put you right where it should have 177ml for 20g
which im still somewhat not too thrilled to try this out

here's something interesting i found

I am always wrong... even when I'm right...:wall:

So why are you not "too thrilled" at adding the h2o2 in higher concentrations?

Not sure what to tell you....

I bought my 50% at an industrial chemical supplier... the only directions were the HAZMAT labels...

So I followed Fuct's recipe with great results... but.. you got a LABEL with INSTRUCTIONS telling you what to do .. so I guess I understand your concern...

I would say that if what you have is actually 35% h2o2, upping the dose will only help you get rid of the infection... with no downside (other than the cost)...

Hope you sort it out quick...:razz:

i dont care about coasts at this point!
it can coast me more then 180ml of h2o2, and already did
as long as this doesnt kill the plants, i could care less?
if this kills my plants it not worth it

Well I use 2x 100 gallon tanks...

In them, I put about 1400ppm of nutes and 1 ml/L of 50% h2o2...

Since I only fill the tanks to 80 gallons (about 300 L) I use 300 ml of the 50% h2o2... every 3 or 4 days...

It has NEVER hurt my plants... in fact... I often add a splash more just for good measure...

I would be surprised if H2O2 at that concentration would damage the plants in any way, but if you are really that concerned do a small test with one or 2 clones in a cup with solution at that concentration - if they are fine after 12-24 hours then all should go well.

Good luck bra!

Hey SOG

Sorry to hear you have pH problems. A lot of times its a bacterial problem causing the pH fluctuations. By your use of H2O2 and the return to normal pH, albeit temporary, there is an indication of bacteria of some kind. I would up the dosage to what you feel is safe. I like the idea of a test run if you feel uneasy.

I have never used nutes in my cloner, only clonex occationally. Just pHed RO water and an aquarium heater. In 2 weeks . . .roots!

Hope you get this sorted out soon as I know these unscheduled things are a pain. Good luck

new grower here. trying to find some info on cloning for soil gardens. dont have money to invest in cloner right now so seeing what people know to improve the percentage of good growing clones. also input on differences in powders and gels and so forth. thanks!

so, i just hit them with 370ml/20g of h2o2 @10%
i hope my logic is correct on this one

50% H2O2 =1.0ml/L or 3.786ml/G
35% H2O2 =1.7ml/L or 6.436ml/G
10% H2O2 =4.8ml/L or 18.172ml/G
3% H2O2 =14.4ml/L or 54.518ml/G

its been 24h now!
pH is solid on 5.8 since i added H2O2 and pH'd back
475ppm after i added H2O2, current read is 477ppm
it seem as the issue been resolved with H2O2
clones not showing any signs of stress yet!

girls are still alive, nothing apparent from over dosing
ill hit them again tonight as my pH dropped back down to 5.6
i balanced it back, ill wait to see the ratio its dropping again

Glad to hear no troubles came from the H2O2... I would have been REALLY surprised... but I guess "everything is possible"... lol....

Not sure if you heard... but I may be switching to a single 250w globe pretty soon... :wall: maybe even T-5... :wall::wall:

But it will be interesting to see what I can do with 10% of the watts..... riiiight... real freaking interesting....:wall:
