SoCal summer killing my clones

As the subject says I currently have 3 banana delight and 6 d.o.g. Clones in a 4x4x8 sunhut and weather is currently causing a lot of heat issues. I had an lg air condition that killed my last batch because the comPressor went out and blew warm air Into my tent. I bought a good working sharp portable ac unit, but my grow tent is maintaining about 88-90 midday. I dimmed the 600 watt hps with the ballast but it's still hot as shit. I have a bathroom fart fan sucking the air out of the tent and into the house ducting. The ac vents out the window and is set to the coldest setting. Here's where I'm at, I believe the heat issues might be fixed by eliminating the tent and simply using the entire room. I cannot do a window ac unit due to homeowners association nazais but I really don't have many options. Is this going to fix my issue if I simply hang my light from a support beam in the ceiling and continue to use all the same fans and the ac? I figured bigger area more room for the heat to go other than stayin confined in the tent

get a cooltube or air cooled hood and dont use a bathroom fart fan get yourself 2 decent exhaust fans. one to exhaust the tent and one for the cooltube. im in aus and temps get way over 90 where i live but i keep good airflow and have no problems

I run my light 24 hours because they are still growing, once they get to be about 3 feet Then i begin thrrr blooming stage andswitch to a 12 hour night cycle during the day time and 12 hour light cycle during the night time so I have perfect control of temp. I have done this durin the winter time no problem but summer time in SoCal is very hot and harder to control. Every indoor setup I've seen does it like this and I've had super high yields the last 3 harvests in my room. The nicer inline fans make too much noise, as I said I live in a home owners association and the noise has to be silent after 10pm. The vent in my roof echoes the sound in my neighborhood. Can't draw attention

well you can get ventilations that is next to silent .. only cost a bit more .. and even some box ventilations who dont make any noise .. but here we are talking 1K $

but a nice littel 4" of a nice quality who have a low DB .. then build a box for it .. mount it with rubber discs ..
and buy the littel more expensiv isolatet tubeings .. I bet you can make it less noisy then your bathroom vent ..

also .. and it is sumthing I also will do next year ... plan ahead .. if possible veg at summer (I use T5HO) or if you runn MH .. flower at summer and run it at night ..

dont cost anything to use commen sens .. but I did`t think about it either ..

And its funny .. now we are talking about summer temps aso.

as I .. like evrybody els also struggle a bit .. trying to keep it spot on .. now I just made two more small changes to my room ..

1.) I removed the cover on my filter (the white dust cover) sure a littel bit of carbon drops out .. but nothing special .. and ther is a sug on it 24/7 so dont belive mouch more will drop out .. or I use some netting to catch it underneed .. and if it realy become a problem I fit it agin when the summer is over ..

2.) I made .. well I guess its hard to imagen with out seening my room ..
but my ventilation/filter is high up over my door ... and plans is ½ meter in the room ..

I made a plastic cover on the floor and ½ a meter up ... and at the celing .. ½ a meter down .. as wide as the room .. and used dutch tape to secure it

so all the air now have to pass through the middel of my room so to speak .. and will be directet past my plants .. so no air just travel near the floor or celing ..

just made my temps drop from 80,5 to 78 :) in the middel of my canorpy ..
well all over I bet .. I just let my thermo/hygro meter wire stay in the same spot so I could read the diffrents ..

I guess you just have to be creativ ..

running it at night also made it drop a few and fit my time scredule better actualy ..

and running a tube from my passiv intake over my window also help my temps drop a few and also provide fresh air/co2

you can do a lot .. just have to be creativ and use commen sens and logic .. try to direct the air wher you want it .. and do what ever it takes to make the ventilation run as smootly as possible .. no bends and short tubeings aso.
