some people start flowering from seed i guess...

im gunna put mine in flowering today!!!

It also depends on how powerful your lights are. If you're flowering with CFL's, for example, you wouldn't want a six foot plant. Keep in mind your plants will double or triple in height, after they go into flower. Also - you can start 12/12 from seed - but you cannot force the plant to flower until it's sexually mature. Before that, it will continue to veg, even under flowering conditions. Aside from those few things, it's completely up to you, when you want to flower.
 
thats up to you. longer the veg the taller your will get but know this your plant will triple in size most of the time in flower. i have to long and then flowered and ran out of higth of my grow area. so it up to you and your flower area 707 says.

ok so then what lights should i use veggy stage and what should i use for flowering??

only cfl cant afford anything else right now
 
SOOO what happends if you run outta room during florwing?
do you tie them back or can u prune at this time too??
 
ok 6500 watt is for veg it has more blue in it and the 2700 is for flowering it has more red in the light. as for the hight you can can either top your plants and or tie them back and train them.

For CFL's - you want 6500K for vegging, and 2700K for flowering. It's good to throw one or two of the other color in with each stage, as well.

You should try and plan your grow so that doesn't happen. But if it does, yeah, tie her down, or move it to a bigger space, is about all you can do.
 
I always flower at 1 ft tall this seems to give the best results under a 600 hps in a grow tent.The reason that i flower at a ft is that the whole plant get a good ammount of light giveing you far dencer buds.The buds are like this to the very bottom of the plant.But it all depends on your grow room but keep in mind that most cannabis plants double in height during flowering.I used to flower big but the bottom of the plant always had very little on and it was always the top ft that had the dencest buds.And it is weight that i'm after and buds that have had good light always are far more crystaly............................tyke.............................................
