So Whatcha Think?

Title says it all, just wanted some feedback on my 2nd attempt grow so far....

Here are the specs:

-Aurora Indica and White Rhino (from Nirvana)
-8 week veg (just started 12/12 cycle 4 days ago)
-250 watt HPS
-Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil
-Fox Farm Grow big, Big bloom, and Tiger bloom nutes
-Ph of 6.3
-5 gallon buckets

I discovered these little tiny tiny white bugs a few days ago on and in my soil after watering, and i am pretty sure they were fungus gnats. So I put a layer of sand on top of my soil and got some lady bugs just as an extra precaution to get rid of the little f**kers, as well as cutting back on watering to allow the soil to dry out better.

I'm hoping to at least get 1.5 oz's off each plant so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I am also thinking about putting in a Co2 system as well. If anyone knows of any good places to get one at a good price I would appreciate it very much.

The tent is about 6 feet tall, so i think im good lol. How tall do you think they will be when it comes time for harvest?

they will at least double in size come harvest, the look pretty healthy. don't bother with co2, that is not the way to go quite yet. 1.5oz is easily doable, i would have toped them first though, you are gonna end up with the top buds near the light being fat and everything else underneath will be popcorn because you only have a 250w light, maybe try lollipopping

Lollipopping? im not very familar with that. Could you please explain? And when would be the best time to top them?

the earlier you top the plant the better it works, you could top it now just cut it off about 4 nodes from the top, this will also help prevent it getting too near the light.

lollipopping is where you cut off all the lower branches when they are too far from the light to recieve any good penetration, it prevents you from having to trim lots of little airy buds and makes the top buds near the light fatter.

Oh ok, so when would be a good time to start lollipopping?

around the third week of flowering, i think you would be better topping the plants first, because you only have a 250 you want to try and keep the light as low as possible.

see the way there is nothing whatsoever on the bottom half of the plant, it wouldn't get any light due to the canopy being so thick.
