Every time an old thread gets bumped it's a newbie, or Fin bumping his old threads. He very rarely (maybe never?) posts in a thread he did not create.

Since they dug this one up, I've been wondering about something. What if you "took the 5th" on a piss test? Would consenting to a piss test not be testifying against yourself? I wonder if anyone has used this as a defense.

All depends on a lot of things. Now if your on paper or it's court ordered you have no rights. I know this as I've been in and out of the system.

What does that mean "on paper"? In Time's case the pig obviously was lying, like they always do, so could he have used that defense? Also, I would have sued the shit out of them for false arrest and harassment.

It means on corrections, probations, parole, basically anything that the court controls what you do. There are so many loops holes it's ridiculous, I hate our legal system and think some of our laws are a joke and half of our police force is dirty. Our government hides so much from us.

I'm pretty educated but I can't even articulate how badly I hate our government. Anarchy would be soooo much better.

They might be able to get a court order or something. Or a sever punnishment like with alcohol and refusing a breathalyzer, and losing your license for a while.

You have to submit to a breath and/or blood test for alcohol. Accepting a license means you've agreed to this. Refusal will result in revocation of drivers license regardless of whether you were actually drunk or not. I'm not sure if they can screen for other drugs though, or force a piss test.

Most likely you would be charged with obstruction of justice. Meaning yes, someone has used this defense, and they loled at it.

That's not fair.... this kills me, can someone tell me ANY TIME law / cops etc are fair... Life is unfair where a helmet, but you did give the cop lip, and he understands that what he did to you is fuck with yourlife for weeks... mabey years, whereas this cops life hasn't changed because of this ... Hell he might even get some overtime , doing paperwork, going court etc... This fucking pig is lauging all the way to the bank.....

cops are out there to make money.. in my state they cut funding some so some activities are funded by pulling people over, how is that fair? it is what it is, just don't give them any reasons to eff with you imvho..
