So, my GH trio and Calimagic came in... but I'm scared...

Its here, and it looks like I may have a new MJ plant sprouting, although it looks weird for a MJ plant, has round leaves it seems, maybe it will change in a few days.

Anyways, it is apparently growing good in a Jiffy Seed Starting mix. I am a little gun shy about pulling it out and putting in a hydroponics set up given how bad I killed the last MJ plant that sprouted with too many nutrients. Can I just leave it growing in that seed starting mix for a bit? Can I use the GH trio solution to feed it? And what about Calimagic? I would guess I should use that too, although maybe in reduced concentrations since the soil may have some calcium and magnesium, although I would guess not that much given that it is so soft, it almost feels like mostly coco coir, which I believer has very little real nutrients.

A seedling has everything it needs tons survive for the first week or so built into its cotelydons. Those are the round leaves that emerge from the shell husk. Nutrients are stored in it to keep it alive and give it a fighting chance in nature to sprout and develop a deep enough tap root to be able to sustain itself once those are depleted.

Thank you Airwalker16! Yea, I thought it would be very weird if that was anything other than the pot plant, given that the pot plant was the only thing (I thought) I planted there!

So I've just been giving it distilled water. In the next few days, after a week or so after it sprouts, can I just give it the does of the GH trio and Calimagic from those very helpful charts you posted? With the caveat that I think you said to mix the calimagic into the water first before mixing the GH trio one by one. Thanks!

For real, seedlings need so little food. I'd honestly use like 1/3 of the charts amounts.

Got it Airwalker! I'll probably just keep this plant in the seed starting mix, adding it to bigger pots over time. I feel like the seed starting mix is probably very low in organics, so I can just keep adding the GH trio and Calimagic to it over time almost like its in a hydroponic system with RO/distilled water. I'll start with 1/3 the chart amounts, and gradually increase up to the normal amounts over the course of a month or so. Thanks so much!

Starting with 0ppm Reverse Osmosis filtered water is absolutely vital here, keep in mind.

You buy distilled obviously. Doubt you're gonna be running a steam worth for water. So do yourself a favor and just check it with your TDS meter before hand
