So I have a beautiful hermphrodite.... It's a sad day since this plant is growing very well.

I would like some tips on what I should do, there are a few male pollen sacs on the lower branches only. I've inspected this plant throughly and there are none anywhere else. If I just clipped the lower branches would I be okay? Or should I just chop the whole thing? I have two other females in the grow room with the hermie.

Its can be a hard life for a grower ..

and this is one of them times

Chop..Chop

the reason being if I castrate you ..you'd still be a male

but ur pepe wouldn't grow

back unlike a weed plant

later once you got a few grows in

you can look up grafting and use the roots as a 'rootstock'

remove/kill/burn the hermie to ensure the two gals don't get pregnant

Well it sounds like I'm chopping her Down. :(
I just need to remind myself it for the best.

Huge bummer, this plant was the ideal plant. The whole way through veg and the beginning of flower she was the star grower. Looked beautiful, was always flawless, was starting to fill out Nicely, we were about to make things happen till i found out she had a dick.....

Once done remove existing plants and wipe down the walls etc

with warm water and 10% household bleach it will remove any existing pollen and any fungi spores too,

now you gotta ask yourself where you went wrong??

or suffer the same next time

good luck

i put one in the yard, picked the balls off, grew it til it got frost bit, then dried it and used it for butter. i will get 1 1//2 pounds of very good butter. thats 100 one hit cookies. not sure it it was worth the effort or not.

2 weeks isn't long enough flower time to produce any mature trichs worth anything other than killing it.

make damn sure you do a full hazmat style clean up on everything in the room. if you miss a little bit of pollen and it gets on another bud site, well its gonna be a hermie a party once again.

would be better to keep it alive awhile outside, but if that cant happen, make butter. i would dry it and decarb, but honestly, if you are gonna flush it anyway, scissors it onto a cookie sheet, cover with tinfoil, decarb in the oven at 220 and then straight into the butter pot. do your basic butter rendering, make cookies, eat one, and report back here, and we will all know.

I might give this a shot, and I would put it outside but where I live the daily high temp outside is about 50 degrees with lows of around 35-40

excellent, I did that also. Put it in the shed nightly to keep it at about 12/12. Lasted until about 5 weeks when it got frostbit. I picked off the few male bits and the flowers grew just fine. The whole experience taught me hermies are not the devil, I grew the other 4 bag seeds and 2 white widows out with no seed in site...I speak from personal experience... do with it what you will

so then tell me whats the point of growing a hermie plant? experience, shits and giggles, possibly bringing in some pollen into your grow and fucking up your entire grow? your taking risks, like screwing a hooker with out some protection.

so you wanna continue to grow out a hermie strain. what end result are you after? seeds, pollen? it will stop growing buds and start filling in with seeds. trust me, I went thru 2 cycles of utter HELL with hermies.

I would of keep it. And the pollen. If it only grew a few balls. You could of made fem seed. But if the whole plant herm, then i would kill it. Take the balls off the other one's. And see if you get more balls or not. Hope you don't, if you don't want seeds. Or, if that strains killer. Might want to think about seeds

I steamed and pureed my males and froze it into cubes. I'm giving them to a friend who's dealing with brain cancer. I figure any help is better than nothing.

It just seems like a complete waste to trash any amount of cannabinoids.
