Typically, the time people "flush" is the time the plant needs to be fed to make the most gains. These plants bulk up and get super terpy right at the end, so flushing really hurts yields and final quality. The people who say they "can tell" whether a plant is flushed or not also probably get high on vitamin C.

Mate I’m just trying to figure everything out so I’m not rushing around when I’m closing on the time.
if I’m honest I didn’t realise this thread would cause so much upset.
I’ll have to have a look and see if there is a thread on what timeframe I’m aloud to ask questions on specific points on a forum.
im very new to all this, and up until now the responses I’ve had on various threads have been nothing but helpful and I’m very appreciative of all. But now I’ll think twice before asking for fear of getting jumped on.

Hey bud, welcome to RIU. First off you don't have to worry about rushing around. Growing takes months, not days, so you have plenty of time. Every day people bring up the same questions and some of the regulars here do tend to get frustrated. I get you are new and want to learn which is great so I am going to do you the favor that all new folk should have done for them. Look to the top right of your window, there is a search button. Search the word flush, you will be brought to 10 plus pages of flushing threads. Everything that could possibly be said about the subject is there for your reading enjoyment. As for getting jumped on, it's just words on a screen and can do you no hard. Don't sweat it. Use that search button and you will be happy. You can always PM a user who seems helpful to see about getting advice one on one. Good luck, happy growing.
