NO NO NO NO NO NO. I agree misinformation like this is sickening but its extremely clear that bath salts are BAD NEWS, however, there is NO NEED to spread lies about it! This is how people get hurt!!!!

Its all a media ploy to put LSD back in the spot light as something that is harmful and dangerous because there is very strong evidence and medical studies that show LSD to have therapeutic relief to people that are manic depressive and a bunch of other conditions as well as easing the elderly in the though of death and that its ok to remove the stress of it.

God forbid we have anything that eases our ailments. It would go something like this- "Bath Salts are the new LSD? Wait, wasnt that miami zombie on bath salts?" Makes ya wonder

Some of the stupidest "reporting" I've read in a while. Just thought I'd share. Apparently chemicals structurally related to meth are similar to LSD. Its this kind of stupid misinformation that just really irks me.
This shits been pissing me off. I wish LSD would get a lawyer and sue! How does one go about correctly defending a good substance from this shit. I think its all propaganda, there has been a lot of talk about reclassifying psychedelics and I'm sure this just set it back a ways. Anyone who does not educate themselves on the subject (99% or more) is now going to think LSD causes you to freak out and eat someone. Its like Refer Madness all over again. These reporters need to lose there job, or be spun on LSD.

Did I point out how much this irks me?

Now that I think about it me and my wife have been known to eat a bunch of LSD and put each other in our mouths, maybe we're at risk of being shot too!

I agree with you badmojo bath salts are stupid as hell. I just hate that they report on something with quite literally no knowledge on the subject. If you spread flagrant misinformation like this about a regular pharmaceutical you'd be strung up for harming the public, but its quite ok for LSD? Seriously I thought this type of hysteria over LSD ended in the 70s.

I try not to attribute to malice that which can be attributed to stupidity. The reporters think the cops are authorities on things like this. It's not they even need to learn what chemistry is to do their jobs.

To be fair, the article says bath salts are "the new LSD", I read nothing in the piece that made them akin except popularity and psychological effects. I do dislike seeing quotes from the DEA on physiological effects of drugs however - they are far from the last word on that subject but are taken as that simply because of the word Drug in their name.

bath salts could be any god damn cathinone or what not in not similar but this is the problem

the chemicals on their own are fucking no joke shit to play with

your getting repackaged shit that could be cut for profit

with the right vendors things can be done properly

Bath Salts = Zombie Apocolypse?

Are “Bath Salts” turning people into zombies?
In the last week, “Bath Salts” have become a hotly searched term across the internet after the cannibal attack in Miami.
Rudy Eugene, allegedly high on the substance, was shot and killed by Miami police after they discovered he was eating the face and brains of a 65-year-old homeless man.
LIST: The Walking Dead! 10 Drugs That Will Turn You Into A Zombie
In another case, a Maryland college student was arrested for killing his roommate after he told police he ate the victim's heart and part of his brain after he died.
LIST: Things To Know About The Face-Chewing Naked Man Case
In San Antonio, a mother beheaded her infant son on orders from the devil and reportedly ate a portion of his brain and three of his toes.
Police are still conducting their investigation in both cases and haven’t ruled out the possibility that drug use may have been involved. After all, to commit these heinous acts, wouldn’t you have to be on some sort of illegal medication?
Either way, it seems “Bath Salts” are becoming the drug to turn you into a brain-eating. But what exactly are “Bath Salts”?
What are they made of?
The Drug Enforcement Agency banned three chemicals commonly used to make bath salts: mephedrone, MDPV, and methylone and possession or sale of these synthetic stimulants could result in federal drug charges.
What is it like?
The drug is a mix between cocaine and Amphetamine and is referred to as Bath Salts because they resemble the household product. The two active ingredients are illegal in the US, but available online in Canada.
Is it like weed, will it be detected in my system?
No, there aren’t any medical tests to detect bath salts in a patient.
What are the dangers of Bath Salts?
High body temperature, paranoia, vivid hallucinations and yes, they can kill you. Overuse can lead to heart attacks.
How much do bath salts cost?
About $25 to $50 per packet.
Who makes Bath Salts?
As noted by the Daily Beast, bath salts are manufactured and imported from Europe and China, according Glen Hanson, a professor at the University of Utah who’s done research on the drug. It may be a matter of time before they’re made closer to home. “As it becomes profitable, either drug cartels or individuals will invest in making it,” Larson said.
Are “Bath Salts” known by another name?
They can go by other names, including White Rush, Cloud Nine, Ivory Wave, Ocean Snow, Charge Plus, White Lightning, Scarface, Hurricane Charlie, Red Dove, Blue Silk, Zoom, Bloom, and Sextasy.
Call it what you want, but this new form of chemically manufactured drug is causing havoc.

Mescaline is not made syntheticaly (well it can be but what an effort for something you could harvest and extract).

Ive heard from media sources and read everywhere online that bath salts are manufactered in India and China. What Im wondering is why I cant find anything on the internet about incidents there. Either....... A. Its red ribbon week every week and they dont do drugs... B. There has been, but the media doesnt cover it... C. It could all be a lie and produced here... I believe that potheads ask questions they have more than 1 answer to but they cant all be right . Thoughts?
