SNS 217 Spider Mite Killer!

Has anyone used this product? I called around to a couple of stores today to try and locate some Sucrashield. I dont believe half of what I hear so I wasnt really apt to listen, but one of the store owners offered me a month free supply of this SNS 217 Mite Killer. It says its 100 percent Rosemary extract. The guy also says Rosemary when applied as directions will even help with greening of your plant. Here it is. Has anyone heard of or used this product, if so, how did it work?

It was recommended by my hydro store. It's helped with my mite problem. But I'm wondering if it would cheaper just to use food grade rosemary extract. And would it help to plant rosemary near my outdoor plants?
 
LOL. Good questions. Its weird, it seems like people want to go the hard route to get rid of mites. Im hopeing this all nastural control will work. If not no big deal. Did you notice any change in plant behavior?
 
Now that the mites are gone, the plants are greener. And it didn't burn any of the leaves. I'm trying to find the perfect growing supplies and I will be adding this to my kit.
 
The is no reason to buy such a costly product as SNS-217™ Spider Mite Control. If you want to use Rosemary Oil Extract to help with mites just purchase it from your local health food store at a fraction of the price, dilute in a spray bottle and apply. It will work exactly the same way and save you $$$. I always laugh at products that hit the hydro store shelves with fancy packaging & a high price tag, then you read the ingredients and it is the same old stuff growers have been using for ages. I have learned over my years to not support greed in the industry.

I just used this product and I highly(no pun intended)recommend the SNS-217
I tried Azatrol,Avid,Pyrethrum bombs,GC mite,the 217 seems to have finally wiped them out

I tried SNS 217 and it worked pretty good.
Then I read the ingredients and felt like a fool.
Rosemary oil is $3.99 for 30 ml and I paid $12.95 for a 4 oz. bottle of SNS 217.

I mixed my own,
500 ml 1/2 quart water
15 ml rosemary oil, I made it a little stronger.
2 ml dawn dishsoap to help emulsify the rosemary oil.
I have been using SNS 217 on one plant and my own on another.
Seems to be working just as well.
Give it a stry, it's real easy and is non toxic and smells good too.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
 
I just started flowering this week and I still can't kick my mites. I just bought sns-217. Do I spray plants outside or in my room? It sounds all natural, do I worry about it getting on my skin? Can I do it during flowering?
 
You don't need SNS as the only special thing it claims to do is kill the mite eggs. With products like Take Down and azamax and Doctor Doom foggers, there won't be any mites to lay any eggs ;).
 
My mites became strong to doctor doom, I could literally spray about three inches from the plant onto a leaf and it wouldn't kill them. is the fogger different than just the spray?
 
The fogger is different than the spray, but the other products work too. I've found a variety of products is what it takes to kill mites and keep them at bay.
 
I have had some terrible spidermite probs here in southwest CO...when this product first came out and my local hydro store was giving out free samples i tried it and was totally amazed with the results...i had tried everything...some worked but NONE ever got them under control in my opinion...i started mixing my own...at about the same strength as Poolguy...after just one application at that strength followed by bi-weekly maintenance of 7.5ml rosemary oil to 1 liter ro water i have had virtually no mites...i highly recommend trying this recipe...it is really nice to have mothers with no stippling on the leaves...BUT i will agree that the commercial stuff is way overpriced....12 bucks worth lasts me about 2-3 months.....
 
I will say that sns-217 is good shit...damn good shit. brought a SLH clone home and the plant that i took the clone off of had mites. Tiny little clone, but all the leafs were starting to have a web on the outside of all of them (wish i had a pic for you all), but needless to say i was scared for my other babies well-being so i got the sns-217 after doing a wee bit-o-research and yea, the shit is amazing. I sprayed all my plants with it because the clone was exposed in the same area as them. I haven't seen a fuckin mite in over 2 weeks. which leads me to think, maybe i should do a follow up spray tonight just for preventative measures, stay on top of those fuckers and you will conquer them just like super mario bros. , back in da day, lol. It is pricey shit, 70$ for 32 ounce but hey, the question you have to ask yourself is, are the gals worth it not having skank bugs on them when you ignite your prize up and get stoned ??? make sure to saturate them gals with the spray, underside and on top. no sense in doing shit half assed ya hear!?

Ive used Floramite before and it worked pretty good actually......My local hydro store will open a bottle mix you a gallon and sale it to you so you dont have to buy he whole bottle of floramite kinda cool i thought.....
 
i just got some going to try it i'm a medical grower in colorado and mites love it here 8) it sucks but what i have learned is mites will adapt to anything so you really have to rotate different products i have had them survive bombs floramite avid dips the only thing that ever works is rotate products then you dont get supermites i have used mite rid,floramite,avid,dr. doom spray and bomb.neem oil,sm-90,dish soap and water,alchohal50-50 mix moving to different location you name it just rotate products and treatments keep those little motherfuckers against the ropes 8)

and remember spider mites are like herpes everybody acts like they dont have it but somebody does otherwise how how did you get them 8) i dip all new clones and spray with organic and chemical treatments in veg i know youve read this before but its really true an ounce of prevention is worth a gallon of cure 8) let you know what i think i'm shure the other growers recipe probobly does work as well but money is no object for my crop and i dont have time and have far to many plants to make my own recipe for mite slap 8) or i'm not that smart but i'll post an honest review in a few weeks :leaf: j420man
 
I use SNS217 and I love it. It's organic and the plants take to it well. It can be used in flower up to 2 weeks before harvest. The smell isn't bad and it works!

I drenched these two a couple of days ago and they are healthy, green, and mite free most important.

Thanks for nothing 420poolguy i did this same mix and it killed my fucking plant, im pissed:evil: it was a chocolop it only had a few leaves with mites and it was in week 6 of flowering
 
5ml 100 percent neem oil with 2 litres water and a drop of dish liquid to emulsify...shake well and spray stems leaves pot and earth...works like a charm........
