Hey all,

Juat started using snow storm ultra....All I can say is WOW. It does really well. Plants have much more white crystals on the leaves than normal, I also believe it is helping with bulking them up.

Anyone else using this? I'm using it as a foliar spray. 1ml for 1 qt.

I've had a few ppl use it and say that it added 30-40% more crystals on each bud! If that's the case, and I dunno why they'd lie, then it's a godsend and liquid gold. I'm gonna go buy a million gallons of it when i find it!

I have used it with great results. May have swollen my buds by 15-25% Massive crystals..and its cheap, thats what I like. Now I have only foilar sprayed SS. I don't like puttin that kind of shit in my tank and it last longer and I can control the dose better.bongsmilie

Hemlock,

I started using Snow Storm Ultra four weeks ago. Do you apply it once per week, as directed? Are you using any other foliar feeds? What nutes do you use? I use Canna.

I use this in my medical grow op... use with caution if you are foliar feeding, or mixing with your nutrient regimen. 1 ml a qt is alot to start with and I am sure you see great results but, start with half that 2.5 ml per gal and increese it to 5 ml over time (30 days) and plants have time to adjust to strong pot ash and will yeald better in the long run... NEVER MORE THAN 1 ML PER GAL !!

i dont think this shit does shit but add more pottassium to ur nutes... should help them make better use of what nutes you feed.. but thats about it.

Totally disagree with express. Have used snow storm and gravity and the effects kick ass. Density wise had similar results with flower dragon but nothing compares to snow storm. Not so keen on bush master mind!!

Figured I'd revive a dead thread. Lol! I've used Snow Storm Ultra and Terpinator side by side together. I haven't used them this season perse in that I'm doing something different from my normal routine. It's been a staple these last few years though. I've called and spoken with the guy(name escapes me) that makes SSU and he couldn't stop touting that it has a fabulous shelf life and works unique to any other thing on the market. When I'd asked him what he thought about Terpinator he said theirs does "something similar but different from what mine does".

I never used it for foliar applications but when using it(unlike this year) I regularly add two drops of SSH and two drops of Terpinator to my watering interval. Mind you I am outdoor in smart pots. The results are fabulous when used together. I can't say that it's organic but it does induce some amazing results! When I asked the SSU guy if it was organic he said he had to use a "fertilizer" to act as a chelate to make it work so we'll just leave that to the imagination.

In my mind SSU increases the number trich's and increases trichomb size whereas Terpinator causes trich's to overproduce and break at the base.

Used together you get some really sticky fat-phat buds. Just be careful because bud rot can be in issue using either of these products. Too dense isn't a always a good thing.

A good grower needs none of these products. I still get spots of bud rot from time to time due to the density of the buds I grow using just base nutrients and giving them good lighting and a good environment to grow in. My plants always grow better when the environmental conditions are spot on. Get those factors dialed in and no supplement will do anything more for your plants. They will however cost you money you don't need to spend.

Agreed. I did afterall clearly mention that, "I haven't used them this season perse in that I'm doing something different from my normal routine". Namely, because I am making my own dilutions from nettle, comfrey, dandelion and any other number of dynamic accumulators. Insect frass, bat guanos, you know... things with chitin in them. There's also this stuff called unsulphured blackstrap molasses and this shit Granny used to put in her bath called epsom salts that seem to be doing the trick for me this season.

Just saying. :)

Make your own Mag and Potassium sulfates for way, way less then over the counter....Work's just as well if not better....

Poke around, I have the formula's here on this site.

That's like saying steroids don't work in human atheletes.

Ssu has triacontanol in it. It's a pgr that's not toxic to people, unlike paclo.

I do agree that under perfect conditions with no deficiencies, a supplement doesn't do anything. But an actual hormone can change the plants metabolism.
