Mere scratch for mj. should heal into a nice hard knot in a few days .probably be stronger than it was.

I 4 way lst I run into this every grow you’ll be fine trust me…… both of these split well into the coco so it was very bad……..tied them up and every time I watered I made sure to aim the water into the spout……you’ll be ight……..I drop f bombs all the time teasing when I hear that dreaded SNAP…..they always turn out to be the biggest yeild in the grow iv noticed

Treat it like a wound or broken bone. Splint with something soft like Soft tie or breathable material. Then give it some time to heal and don't mess with it. At harvest, you'll be like, "damn, what a beast."

I've had several splits like that or worse, plants always did just fine. I usually just tape up with gaffer's tape and support the branches if needed. It will be fine.

Absolutely will be fine. Bigunyun,what i meant was if he left more of the main stalk when he topped it would help some until it grew over it,not fool proof by anymeans .it happens....to all of us.

100% will survive if you fix it quickly and without disturbing it too much. You MUST use electrical tape and just tightly wrap around it. The tape will expand/release as the stalk grows.
My outdoor always snaps along the mainline so i add preventative tape to the mainlines or places that will snap under weight/rain. I've had worse damage than that where it recovers after taping.
