SNAP! Goes my baby

Had two plants, one topped and one not. I tried to bend and tie the main cola on the untopped plant down to give myself a little more even lighting in the closet, As I've done quite a few times.....and CRACK! She snapped into an upside down V and I got the chills. It didn't actually tear through the outer layers of the plant and there's nothing from inside exposed to the outside, ....Do you think she just LOOKS bad and she'll survive or should I hack the top off of her and go from there? nice super cropping a little extreme but eh!

if you really wana help her tape her up, use duct tape and glue her back together no one needs to know!!!

put a ring of duct-tape around the break...then two popsicle sticks on both sides of the break...duct-tape that.

Let it there for like the plants entire life. If you get an itch to check on the wound, open it up after 2 weeks. It'll be just fine. I had one break near clean in half this past grow and it's now my biggest cola haha

duct-tape heals all. also a good pest deterrent. I always rap my main stalk in duct-tape, but reversed - so any thrip, mite, or the like who decides to crawl up from the soil is screwed.

Good luck,

Smacks.

Was that the main cola ? Maybe better off growing shorter plants next time so you don't have to bend it.

I left her be, afraid I would cause even more damage. She turned out alright though. She's growing at a slight 90 deg. angle with a bit of a bend towards the top where she's still trying to grow back into the light. Thanks a bunch for the quick replies, I was just terrified when it happened and didn't know where to turn.S7300974.jpg
