Interesting. I will have to look at some more videos. Of course, I quickly got sidetracked by this video, which sounds VERY interesting!

I'm kind of hoping to set up my small system similar to the way that Herbin Legends has his. (youtube vids here) ..Basically a dual root zone set up in a very small space.
The one thing he says in the video I was watching was about having a plecostamus. Those are not very good algae eaters compared to what else you can get. If you want to get some algae eaters buy 1 otocinclus catfish. 2 can keep a 75 gallon tank clean without a problem, three and I had to give them algae pellets.

Here are some pictures, the trichomes are really getting a lot thicker on the leaves now. A video is uploading to YouTube. I feel like a video is a little bit more justification that I'm not just staging these pictures or anything hahahah.

The P may be produced by the worms, according to this site, they produce a lot of Phosphates and Potash...of course, I defused explosives, not conducted soil nutrient tests so my opinion isn't scientific hahahah.

Yeah, I was a little concerned that the plants would be a bit smashed, but they have a decent amount of room on all sides for the lights to get to the bottom. After one night of operation it seems to be working really well.
I forgot to attach the site that has the info on the worms, here it is, sorry for that!

Yeah, the pumps and PVC can add up for sure. I don't think anything was too expensive as a single item but all of my experimenting has certainly cost me $200-$300 wasted in getting to this point. I certainly came up with multiple poor ideas to finally feel like I have my feet under me.

I think I am going to build another system for my upstairs bedroom out of two 55 gallon drums and a grow bed similar to the one in my big aquaponic system. I want to be able to breed plants in an aquaponic system and see if it works. I'm running low on Strawberry Daiquiri seeds and that was a good strain so more would be really nice!

I will be sharing a remake of the video I posted earlier with a lot more bud porn in it, that is where I started since my camera doesn't seem to focus very quickly in video mode.

Yeah, Balor is a Lab/Dane mix and he needs to inspect everything going on. He is a funny pup. He is at least 120 pounds and our other dog is more like 60. She looks like a little dog, even though she is normal sized. She is Blue Lacy and Catahoula mix, which makes for an interesting dog for sure.

Anyway, back to the matter at hand! Hahahah I can't stop looking at the plant even though it doesn't change much from hour to hour. The smell when opening the tent and having the air waft out at you is probably the biggest reason I come back so often hahahah

OH HOLY SHIT, that's awesome. That's kind like how it sounded it worked, but i couldnt visualize it. My god, I did my flood/drain system really poorly in the past lol I just an overflow 'nipple' back into the main and the pump input flush with the bottom of the tray, so when it turned off it fed back through the pump.

The bell siphon looks a bit more elegant ;)
